Man its been too many years recoding the same thing over. or designing the next coolest board feature. Making the best web templates, adding board hacks, and trying to make a CMS without MySQL (which turned out to be one of the best CMS' we ever used!). I think this time around we got something really solid. Within the next few weeks we will be launching, what already is, the biggest web project we have ever designed. Its not a group of .html files claiming to be a website, its not a simple implementation of cutePHP-- We are finally going to be able to treat our staff right, by giving them access to some of the best web publishing tools around. We already have over 1000 Games Listed in our database, and thats only spanning 3 systems! Soon we will have lists upon lists of video games absent of data. And with the help of our staff and members we will gradualy fill this empty data with OUR reviews, OUR ratings, OUR faqs. Slowlywe will build this into one of he best user-ran gaming sites around. Toxic, prepare for success.

What I need is someone whom I can assign things too, and who can complete them, or at least part of them, and I can fix/direct them. |

lol@Nem. That is my problem and dev, php/mysql is a programing/database relationship which enables you to create dynamic web contend. As aposed to the coding of HTML/CSS, which only creates static webpages. Take a look at the zetas, ipb, ign, or most any other board system. They uses either PHP/MySQL, or ASP/MsAccess to allow users to submit data (posts/threads) to the boards. Likewise, if you look at our main site, you will see all content falls from the index.php file, yet what displays is different depending on the query. The query is what falls behind the "?" in a url. For example: http://codezero.rnaforums.net/index.php?action=360Home -- the query is "action = 360Home". Hence all the XBox 360 content. http://codezero.rnaforums.net/index.php?action=viewArticle&id=21 -- the query is "action = viewArticle & [article]id = 21". So you only see the article, labeled with the unique ID "21". Yet both still fall from the index.php file. Understand, devistation? |

well, I can just make a generic password to the gutsCP (the cp i showed you) so that it is secrure, and people can add content. Just until the main one gets worked out. |
