Kitty couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Scott, this was going to be a challenge. But that was no biggie, it gave her pet project to do as she pretended to be interested in art. Lorna was painfully shy and Scott was a bit dim, they needed her input if they were going to get anywhere. “Owww,” she complained as Lorna elbowed her, she did have very sharp elbows. “You don’t look stupid, and he noticed, he’s just a man, which means you sorta have to spell it out to them... with pretty pictures and flashing lights.” She smiled innocently at the green haired girl, as she bounced up the stairs, eager to get her caffeine fix. “Trust me; you’ll get ‘im.” The place was pretty swanky and fairly new looking... for a museum. She snagged one of the kiddie maps as they passed the information booth, they were always so much more easier to read and she wanted some sort of back up incase she got horribly lost. Thanking Warren fervently she got herself a mocha and a chocolate muffin, she needed the sugar, one lollipop wouldn’t sustain her for one day. “So, guys and girls, we gotta plan. How about you, Oh Fearless leader?” she asked, looking over at Kyle. She rolled her eyes as Lorna, taking a seat next to her. She cringed as she could feel herself stick to the plastic chairs, the place may have style, but they had to seriously rethink the furniture. She chewed on the muffin as she waited for her coffee to cool, no way was she burning her tongue when she important work to do. |

With everyone fed or catered for, Warren's next phase was about to take place. Excusing himself from exhilirating conversation of Scott Summers and Lorna Dane, Warren sidled his way up to Ali. "It may not be the strongest coffee in the world, but it's hot, bitter-sweet and leaves you wanting more." As he breathed out a small whisp of steam wafted out, causing him to take some joy in something so simple. Exchanging his hot breath with some more caffinated beverage, Warren tried again and billowed out a small trail of steam. The sighed happily after an internal chuckle was made and then regarded Alison again. "Now I believe we have some discovery of our own to explore." He smiled devilishly at the young woman. He'd noted a place where the two of them might be able to spend a bit of time together in somewhat privacy. If he remembered Kitty's kids map there were a set of out doors type areas, cloisters, where aside from someone who might be interested in the structure, the likelyhood of an art connosoir spending much time there was hopefully low. Warren offered his elbow once he had finished his coffee and asked "Shall we?" Departing from the rest of the group for a better learning experience, Warren called "Don't wait up." and smiled another killer grin, his perfect teeth glinting in the light. With Kyle and Henry looking after the rest of the students, they would have more than enough on their hands than to worry about two little absentees and besides the Professor was no where around so he wouldn't know any different. If it came to it, Warren could always pay one of the others to write his papers for him. That's what was done when you had the resources, you got someone who was clever to do all the book keeping. The cloisters themselves were fascinating in a weird gothic looking garden type of way, but Worthington the third had other things in mind. Namely, trying to guess how many piercings Alison had. There was a quiet nook where they could be alone and not worry about passers by. It would beat wandering around looking at boring exhibits anyway and this was by far a lot more educational. He had led the rocker girl here for his own purposes, but she didn't seem to oppose any of that and he was certain that she was as into escaping from the rest of the scene as he was. "So I suppose you've got a busy weekend planned again, what with you and the band right? So I better make the most of it now." Indeed he did, if she was as receptive as he had imagined, the two of them would be stuck there canoodling for a good few hours. Might even be enough time before one of the stick in the muds tried to come looking for them. In the meantime, Warren and Alison were in each others own little world. ((A whole lot of GModding going on, removing Warren and in case Alison doesn't return. So feel free to skip for the time)) |

The man working on the wiring by the main entrance kept looking round as if expecting someone, his hands either fiddling with the wires exposed infront of him or with the tools on his belt. He seemed to keep nodding his head in time with whatever was playing through the ear piece running from under his collar and for the first time since arriving that morning he smiled. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott followed the others the cafeteria, completely oblivious to the undertones of the conversation he had just finished abruptly with Lorna. He looked at the art world through his tinted lens as they joined the queue, paying for a soda out of his own pocket and moving to stand with the others by one of the tables. He was studying one of the maps of the museum as they all talked and disscussed where to go first and what they should be doing. Kyle looked uncomfortable as everyone seemed to turn to him to sort them out, and Scott was pretty sure the kids would end up doing their own thing regardless of what they were told to do, and infact it already looked like Warren and Alison had dissapeared from their little group. The Summers boy also couldn't see Hank anywhere in their group, and guessed that he had found something more interesting to study than the lunch menu. He finished his soda and started to let his gaze wander round the big hall, looking over all the people who were sat around them, blissfully unaware no doubt that they were sat only a few feet from a whole class of Mutants. The idea of it brought a smile to his lips as he realised that apart from the multicoloured hair of their group they stood out as much as any other group of teenagers here today. Perhaps this wasn't going to be so bad after all... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Several unmarked vans pulled up at the service entrances at almost the same time, the black vehicles looking decidedly weighed down as they parked with the engines silent...
