Hank returned the Professors smile with one of his own he then turned facing the stairwell of the Mansion to see if any one else would approach, it would be a wastes of the Professors time if only he turned up for the trip. He wondered if it would be canceled if that happened, he hoped it would not come to that. Hank stole a glance at the bus driver. Many BusDrivers Hank had met had been obsessed with punctuality. However the driver who would be escorting them seemed to be in an excellent mood, Hank turned to Xavier with a curious eye. Had the Professor worked his Magic?

As Hank searched for another Mutant his prayers were answered when a young woman, about eighteen, came bounding along the stairs. With that much enthusiasm Hank wondered if he had just found someone who shared similar interests to him. Hank smiled as he saw her Green Hair. Green had always been Hanks favorite color. Simply because of the number of times the color 'pops' up in history. In Ancient Egypt Green used to be attributed to Immortality and Resurrection, the god Osiris was depicted as Green skinned.

After the Professor greeted her Hank turned to her and introduced himself. “ Hank McCoy. A beautiful day, is it not?” Hank soon saw a familiar face coming down the stairs. He had met Kitty a few days ago and then again in the computer lab. He smiled at Kittys little outburst concerning Lorna's hair. Hank could not help but wonder what ability Lorna had. He had always been fascinated with the abilities of other Mutants.

Another new face came next.. The next man was a similar age to Hank and seemed a little more mature than the two who had came before him. He almost had an aura which showed he had been through allot in his life. Hank soon found out his Name was Scot. Hank turned to him and introduced himself. Then he turned his attention to see if any others had arrived. “ Starting to fill up?” Said Hank mainly to himself. The next person was the only student, if he was a student, older than Hank so far. He had heard of him before around the Mansion. Kyle...Thought Hank. He was talking t the Professor so decided to talk to him later.

Alison Blair arrived Next....the smoker, thought Hank. He had met her in the middle of a thunder storm, created by a very powerful Mutant named Ororo. However Alsion was, all in all, a nice woman an Hank smiled to her also. The next Mutant was Warren. Hank admired the young man more than the other Mutants and felt a close connection as both were visible Mutants from childhood. Then Last, but by n means least, was Ororo. Hank still marveled in her display a few days ago.

Hank moved with the others onto the bus. He sat near the front as to make sure he would get off quickly. He was rather looking forward to talking to the professor about the exhibits but it seemed he would not get the chance as the Professor left them alone. Xavier had left Kyle in charge but Hank wanted to help out He however waited for Kyles instructions and stepped of the bus.

“I guess so...its a bit cold” Lorna responded to Hanks greeting by peering out of the door and inspecting the weather, pulling her jacket tighter, before looking back at the large man “I'm just glad to get into society again, sorry its Lorna Dane” She wrinkled her nose in a small laugh when she realized she hadn't even given him her name in response. She turned her deep green gaze down to her sneakers self consciously as she wiggled her toes waiting for more people to turn up, art want exactly her strong point but if there was other people her age it could always be fun.

She quickly looked up as a girl just a little younger than her made her presence known and commented enthusiastically about her hair “Oh thanks...you really don't though” Lorna grinned a small blush beginning to appear on her cheeks, the natural shade of jade locks being the subject of years or ridicule when she was younger made her still a little uncomfortable with it, even if it was pretty awesome to have an obnoxious shade to your hair now. “I really like your jeans, I think I'm too tall to steal any of your clothes, damn” She laughed and pushed herself up on her tiptoes to highlight her statement.

She was beginning to relax, which was a good thing the more edgy she was the more likely every watch in the immediate radius around he would go haywire and then cease to keep time. Relaxing was good. She watched as the newcomer came into view, she knew this one from her plastic incarceration she offered him a small smile as he gave her a small wave “Hey Scott...” Was all she could think of to say, what else could she say? Oh nice to see your out of the school prison and not blowing stuff up? No hey was fine.

She didn't recognize the next guy, he seemed to be the oldest out of the whole group so she smiled at him in a pleasant greeting, she was sure if he was going to introduce himself he would. Next was a girl who should really have been an alternative model instead of a student here, Lorna couldn't help but wish she'd put a little bit more effort in now. It seemed that her hair was the topic of conversation as the new girl verbally pounced on her“its...all me, au natural” Lorna replied with wide eyes “Cant really dye over it either, green roots look really weird!” She grinned the blush rising again “Yours is so much nicer than mine....”

Her conversation with the girl was cut short with the arrival of the two latecomers, who she offered a grin to. The blond guy didn't look so odd, she wondered what his 'thing' was but the dark skinned girl had a weird shade of hair just like her, she seemed a lot more comfortable with the brilliant shade of white than she was with the green.

She didn't have time to dwell on it as they filed out and boarded the minibus, she took a window seat near the back and was pleased wen the cool ripped jeans girl Kitty came to sit with her, the ride didn't seem to take too long when there was important stuff to discuss...like boys, clothes and sharing tunes on her iPod.

Filing off the bus she felt the apprehension rise in her once more as the bustle of people on the sidewalk startled her “Lets make sure neither of us make the 6 o'clock news...again...” She said quietly to Kitty.

Kitty’s heart sank slightly as the rest of the students arrived; they were all much older than her. It wasn’t fair, she decided, they all looked so sophisticated with their awesome clothes and kick-ass attitudes, she just felt like the nerdy kid tagging along with the cool crowd.

“Hello,” She muttered awkwardly to the new arrivals. “I’m Kitty, resident ghost girl.” She dug her hands into her pink and black hoodie, smiling as she found an unopened lollipop hidden there.

“I third the need for food,” She said before she popped the lollipop in her mouth. “I don’t this technically counts as nourishment,” she mumbled around the stick. She found herself stood next to the nervous green haired girl, the rest of the students seemed pretty friendly with eachother and she wasn’t brave enough to go up and start chatting to the cool kids. Not right away anyway.

“Pfft, I know, I’m such a Hobbit,” She replied to the green haired girl, flashing her a smile. “Lemme tell you it’s SO hard trying to find pants that don’t trail on the floor. But thanks.”

She boarded the bus with apprehension, usually she didn’t mix well with moving vehicles, she’d manage to avoid all forms of transportation on wheels after her little New York incident. She heaved a sigh; as long as nothing startled her she should be okay. Emphasis on should she thought glumly to herself. She plonked herself down next to the green haired girl, she looked like she could use the company and Kitty had spied the tell tale signs of headphone leads earlier and she was always open to listening to new songs.

By the end of the journey her hunch had paid off as she had a few more bands to add to her collection. “I’m so stealing you when we get back to the Mansion, my iPod needs some serious updating now,” Kitty told Lorna as they got off the bus. “And you need some serious education if you think that Gerard Way is sexier than that dude from All American Rejects.”

Kitty waited til the Professor had left before turning to Lorna and whispering, “What d’ya wanna bet the Professor’s prior appointment was with a lady friend…” She raised an eyebrow suggestively as she let out a small giggle. Oh she hoped the Professor wasn’t read her mind at that moment.

“So, let the education commence!” She said, trying to sound as upbeat as possible and failing. “Ah, I seriously need my caffeine fix, like ASAP.”

"Hello again Lorna"

There wasn't much he could think to say to her as he neared the group. He nodded towards the professor in thanks, tapping the side of his new glasses and giving him a weak smile. It had been a while since he had seen anyone else, so beyond the green haired girl and bald man the rest were all new to him. He stood with the group but apart from it, not straying to close in an effort to prevent any accidentle bumps or collisions that might uncover his eyes. The thought of what could happen to those around him, made his hands shake and he had to keep clenching and unclenching them to try and stop it.

His tinted vision moved round the group, first to the large student near the professor, dressed sharply in a black suit, cleanly shaved and well presented he looked more like he'd be more at home as a college running back than in an art gallery, but then looks were often deceptive.

His eyes continued to wander, going over the girls who stood next to each other, Lorna and another one he hadn't met yet. He was careful to hide where he was looking but there was no denying they were attractive girls.

Next to arrive was an older man, didn't look to excited by the prospect of being in charge of a group of kids. He hadn't caught any names just yet. The older man was quickly followed by another female, a look of nervous tension on her face hidden by a slight smile. He knew that feeling all to well. She seemed to be looking for someone as she kept looking back over her shoulder to the stairs behind them.

The last two to arrive were another odd couple, the male, a handsome young man with golden hair, for some reason wore a long coat, even in the warm air of the morning. It made him look a little uncomfortable in the rising temperature, but there was something odd about the outline of the man that Scott couldn't put his finger on just yet. After him was a white haired, dark skinned girl. His eyes widened a little at the sight of her long legs appearing from under the army skirt she wore, and the vest she had on did little to hide her athletic figure.

Scott suddenly felt like he was back at school again, out of place with what he chose to wear and always behind with the latest fashion. Scruffy clothes had always been easier to get hold of, and didn't matter so much when the kids spat on it or made him bleed over them. Apart from the bullying things didn't seem so different here just yet.

He smiled to himself at the various comments that passed between the newcomers and the professor before they were herded onto the bus like primary school kids. Ah well at least it beats the basement he thought to himself as he took a seat on the minibus, making sure to keep to himself as he stared out the window.

By now he was beginning to get a handle on who was here and by the time they reached the front of the museum he had it all figured out by listening to small tidbits of information from their conversations. The sharply dressed student was called Henry, the youngest in the group called herself Kitty..he wasn't sure if it was her real name or not yet...Green hair girl he knew was Lorna from their time in the cells together, and the older man he found out was called Kyle. The last three to arrive he worked out to be Allison, Warren and Ororo...a name that certainly caught his attention...almost as much as the outfit.

Waiting for the others to disembark the minibus he followed suit and stood waiting...watching as it drove off...

Finding out that he was chaperoning the students didn't make Kyle very happy. “Whatever you say Professor I’ll do it.” He just felt really out of place since most of them were kids. Kyle walked on to the minibus pushing his aviator glasses against his face. “Ok since I only know some of you, I’m Kyle….just call me by that. Here’s the rules no one is allowed to use their powers, and secondly don’t fool around with me. Or try to agitate me, I’m not used to this kind of stuff so bare with me.” A student with green hair just looked nervous, while the youngest seemed to think she wasn’t being noticed.

Kyle moved to an available seat, He looked over to a student he didn’t know, “Hey you with the glasses what’s your name?” Kyle had a thought about that specific student that reminded him of when he was younger. The student really just wanted to be left alone and not attract attention, Kyle could understand that feeling all to well. He wasn’t sure he would get an answer so, before Kyle got on the bus took along one of his music sheets, and begin humming the tune.

Alison grinded a bit with Warren’s comment on her outfit. He did like it, which was good. It was a bit dressier then what she tended to wear, but she wasn’t some sort of uncultured savage. You wear nice stuff when you hit a museum. But not to really miss a beat after the comment made, Alison winked. “I’ll play school girl alright. Is that a ruler in your pocket?” Oh, they always had so much fun together. And the weeks she spent at the mansion were a lot less boring with her blonde companion. She waved a hand as Ororo had brought herself down the stairs and greeted everyone. She wasn’t so hungry herself, but she could do with another caffeine injection. And then the Professor had to give her a fricken report?! Alison shook her head and rolled her eyes. “So not happening. The weekends are band time, not student time. Too bad, so sad, try again next time…” Alison had busted her ass all week trying to study, and get things right. No one had said a damn thing about it either. Not that she was doing it for their approval or anything, but really, it seemed like he just wanted to bust her balls. She didn’t need this place anyhow. She could figure out her powers on her own. If he was trying to befriend her or something, this was so not the way to do it. All this served to do was sour the rocker’s mood. And she had tried to make steps to avoid this too. Though Lorna talking about the hair situation makes her smile for a brief moment. “Today it’s a simple style. Most of the time it takes at least an hour to get it all spiked in the right places.” Though she looked normal, she seemed to try hard to make herself stand out. It was one of the roles in being a performer.

The young woman took herself to the very back of the bus, and slid in so she was near the window. Yeah, she just really did not want to deal with people anymore today. She might just blow off the whole trip once they get there. Her home was the City, and there were a million things she could find to do. Everything now was getting on her nerves, most of all Kyle. “Hey you with the glasses? Mr. Rude much? Even I know it’s excuse me. Like so…” Blue eyes looked the way of the unnamed boy, and Alison nodded her head upward in a ‘hey you’ gesture. “Exscuse me handsome with the tricked out glasses, could you share your name so Mr. Do As I Say, Not As I Do can just sit down and shut it?” Alison then turns her head toward the window to look out it. “God I need a #@$%ing drink and a smoke so damn bad.” Is muttered, and the girl closes her eyes. She really needed to pick herself up from her mood crash, but she did not have her typical tools to do so. Maybe she should re-think this whole Mutant school thing…

Warren smiled showing off his brilliantly ordered and shiny white teeth. He shrugged and leaned his head to the side in appreciation of the words that might have been considered strict by some. He being the wealthy inheritor of the Worthington fortune simply let it slide. "Sure thing Prof. I mean Professor. Thank you sir." As long as he was getting something to eat he couldn't complain. Some of the other students chatted briefly as they piled on board. Warren simply looked at the entrance to the bus and braced himself for an uncomfortable ride. Squeezing his shoulders tight, The winged mutant hopped on board and manouvred his way to sit on the back seat.

He would have sat here regardless of Alison, because of how uncomfortable these sorts of seats could be for himn not to mention his posture. He was relatively quiet the ride and concentrated on not breaking anything. He was able to keep amused however. Warren couldn't help but think about what Ali had said, it was hard to stop smiling even when his cheeks started to hurt. She had some naughty ideas and he was liking them. The vocal blasting she gave Kyle startled Warren and he moved away slightly not expecting things good from the outburst.

Kyle sounded like a sour sort of guy, why he was comming along was beyond Warren. He had yawned halfway through his speech and wondered when they'd all stop, he was feeling peckish and that among other things were prevalent on the guy's mind. From his position at the back, Warren was able to take note of the others and begin to see something of a class ranking or social order. There were the teachers pets, the socialites the loner and the outcasts. So this is what school was like? "I'll second you on that" He said answering the mumbles of Ali with a smirk.

Stepping out of the bus was a relief, he was still restricted but at least he wasn't cramping his own wings with his body weight. Appreciating the design of the building for two seconds, Warren belched, excused himself and asked "Who's hungry?" He looked around for support and added "My treat" That always won people over right? When people liked one another they gave them stuff. He'd even gotten into the habit of tipping his own staff, back when he was living in his Aerie. Lorna the green haired girl and Kitty the Punky Brewster of the group were chatting away like crazy. He nodded at Scott and said the obvious "The girls are really getting along" Further to that he crept up to his ear. "Got your eye on any pretty little thing?" Warren had to be one of the 'boys' to be in and the old guy and teachers pet weren't going to cut it unfortunately.

The smile dropped from the Moroccans face as she was told a good telling off for her tardiness by the professor, this was a whole new experience for her. Apart from juvie no-one had told her off for her timekeeping in a long time, there had been no one around to, the distant memories of her parents faded more and more as the girl got older. She took a moment to think on it, maybe the professor did actually have her best interests in mind like a parent, she resisted the urge to be sarcastic back and tried to ask maturely as she could in the situation, she simply nodded at his statement and filed out to sit on the bus.

She spotted Ali and Warren sitting on the back seat and moved to join them, she had realized by this point that the pair had something going on between them, she didn't want to cramp their style so she sat furthest away from the pair to look out of the opposite window, she flashed a smile in their direction to show she wasn't avoiding them, but giving them time together. The earlier telling off had got her thinking about her parents, something she tried her hardest not to do when other people were around, it just got her upset.

The teen swung her knees up onto the seat so she could cuddle into herself letting the bright white strands fall over her her tanned face, she closed her eyes and tried to lull her own thoughts casually dipping into the conversation of others. Nothing really caught her attention until she heard Kyle, their unlikely chaperone pipe up obnoxiously to the boy one girl referred to as Scott, her eyes snapped open in an instant, but Ali was quick to correct him on his rudeness.

“Your supposed to be the adult here right? Well I really think its time you started acting like it yeah?
” Ororo said calmly to Kyle as she leaned forward in her seat, one arm draped over the seat in front of her “More courtesy in my pinkie I swear...” She grumbled as she sat back in the seat, gladly they were arriving at the museum and she could get off the bus.

Boots clacking loudly on the sidewalk she wrapped her arms around herself, there was definitely a breeze going on here...well she could just...nope...no powers remember Ororo. Crap, being all goose pimply it was then, she sighed audibly as she stared up at the sky. She did however perk up when Warren mentioned food, raising her hand when he asked who was hungry, it being his treat made it even better “Oh saint Warren, giver of life and the eternal caffeine fix!” She joked giving him a grin. As he walked off from Ali, Ororo approached the punk-rocker giving her a soft nudge with her elbow and flicking her head in the direction of Kyle “So I guess you've had the pleasure of Mr. Attitude over there huh? Whats his deal?” She asked.

Hank remembered the Professors telepathic summons. It seemed that many of the students had only arrived because of the alternative. Hank wondered who this Logan was and he seemed to inspire some kind of fear in the others and, from the looks of things, allot of respect. He decided he wanted to meet him. Hank took a look around New York. Many claimed that this city was the greatest in the world, Hank would of said Paris for the simple reason that the Louvre was there, and Hank could see why they might think that. The buildings where modern and the streets were clean, and Hank had found that many people were quite operative, compared to most of the country at least.

Hank focused on the Museum in front of him. Hank had visited before and each time he stood for a while to admire the stunning beauty of the architecture. . The building was almost One Hundred and Forty Years old and still people came from every corner of the world to visit each year. There seemed to be a little tension between the others, particularly between Scott and Kyle, Hank was unaware of the reason but for once it did not matter that he did not know something. Hank watched as everyone headed of the bus and walked the stairs. Hank followed and noticed everyone talking amongst themselves. Hank decided to just stay alone.

Hank heard Warren's offer. He was not hungry, as he had eaten back at the Mansion. Hank turned to Warren and thanked him but told him if they did eat it would not be necessary for Warren to pay for his meal as he had brought enough money, though Hank made it clear that he thought it was a superb gesture.

The stairs were cramped with the amount of civilians who had awoke early and headed for the Museum. Hank was quite happy to wait for any one to pass him as he was quite happy to take his time and let the busy city slickers go ahead of him, beside pushing ahead could give him away. As he entered the grand hall he noticed the room was illuminated beautifully from the outside. He walked up to the entrance desk and smiled to a woman in her late thirties. Hank had walked ahead of the others in his enthusiasm. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet from within he draws a small card. Associate Member. When Hank knew he was moving to New York he had donated the necessary money to receive the membership card which allowed free entry.

The Woman gave Hank a recite and he turned around and headed to where the others would soon enter. He had no idea if Kyle had any plans or if he was going to let them wonder around alone.

“Oh...eww...i really didn't need to think about that” Lorna replied to Kittys comment about the Professor maybe meeting a 'lady friend' the grimace on her face resembling someone who had recently eaten something awfully sour “Well thanks for the haunting visual, I'll report back on my nightmares in detail” She moaned moving one hand up to rub her forehead, she was going to rub her eyes but thought she better not, rubbing black makeup all over your face was just not a good look.

For all the time the girl had spent in New York City she'd never been here, and she began to wonder why it was so beautiful to look at! Maybe she would be bored later but the first initial sight of the place took her breath away, sort of like a first kiss. She was feeling a tad more comfortable in the group of mutants, if she was going to be an oddball she may as well be an oddball with friends, she even felt the confidence to pull the hood back down and pull out her hair, hopefully the normal people would just think she was a rebellious teen or something.

As she smoothed down the jade strands of hair she heard the blond guy pipe up with offerings of breakfast, oh a muffin would be so good right now. She gave a grin and an enthusiastic nod in his direction “There ya go Kitty, caffeine!” She watched him walk over to Scott, Lorna doing an almost half turn to Kitty “Okay tell me if you think I'm insane but Scott's kind of cute right?” She said quietly with a small glance over her shoulder at him.
