Here's a handy format for character profiles! This is by no means a limit to what you can write, just a minimum of the information we need. [Name] - [Alias/Code Name] - [Age] - [Affiliation/Occupation] - (Organization the character belongs to) [Ethnicity/Nationality] - [Criminal Record] - (If any) [Height] - [Weight] - [Appearance] - [Personality] - [Mutant Class] - [Power Level] - [Powers] - [Weaknesses/Limitations] - [Skills] - [Possessions] - (Including wealth and property; but we dont need to know about every pair of shoes or stick of lip gloss) [History] - Edited by Evita, Jan 29 2008, 01:51 AM.

Mutant Class and Power Level ~ What do they mean? Here's a handy guide to help you. Remember this isn't a canonical guide since the canon ratings are wishy-washy, unreliable, and change whenever a boring primadonna writer wants to be edgy. Mutant Class This represents the potential scope of a mutants powers. Omega ~ An Omega mutant can potentially affect the entire world. Remember this is only potential, and without extensive training even the most powerful Omega mutants wont ever graduate beyond the scope of other mutants. Mutants of this level are always telepaths, reality or probability warpers, or molecular kineticists. Omega mutants are extremely rare and not many of them will be approved. Alpha ~ An Alpha mutant can potentially affect national or multistate scale, causing major changes or damages (or preventing them) on a relatively grand scope. The ramifications of their actions can and often will have global results, but the powers themselves do not extend to that scope. Alpha mutants are almost always telepaths, reality or probability warpers, or kineticists. Beta ~ A Beta mutant can potentially affect a city or metropolitan scale, perhaps an area the size of New York Metropolitan area. The ramifications of their actions often have farther-reaching consequences, but the scale of their power itself does not. Beta mutants are often telepaths, kineticists, or manipulators of some sort or another, though it is not unheard of for any sort of mutant to fall under the beta category. Epsilon ~ An Epsilon mutant has a relatively limited scope to their powers, rarely more than a few city blocks in range. They are usually mutants with personal or touch-based powers or limited kinetic abilities. They can cause a lot of destruction and damage, but only in their own rather immediate surroundings. Theta ~ A Theta mutant has powers on a personal scale. This includes things like an accelerated healing factor, super strength or speed, or a diamond form. While a Theta mutant can be very powerful, they dont have the same scope and range of other mutants, and are limited to changing things they can touch at a personal level. Power Level Power level is a sliding scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest) that dictates a mutant's level of control and understanding of their powers. Therefor an Omega mutant with a power level of 2 would have very weak powers but be able to affect a very wide area, and conversely a Theta mutant with a power level of 9 would have very strong powers that were strictly personal. |

Character Approval Two votes for approval are required for a character to be moved. The votes that count are Evita, PhilosopherVoice, Marco, and Fox Confessor. If you don't get two votes, don't fret. It usually just means you need a little editing. |
