In the US we tend to look at # of total medals won, but I've heard in some other countries they place the emphasis on # of golds only. So, how do you see it? |

And just for meaningless hypothetical discussion: I think they should have a system of weights to rank the countries' medal totals, each gold worth 3 points, silver 2 and bronze 1. Country with the highest score "wins". |
