I'm a fairly new gooner. My oldest son roots for the Eagles (I'm a Cowboys fan) so I started rooting for Arsenal to get him back. (He's a big Manure fan) LOL I chose the Gunners because they have a cool logo, plus how can you not like a team with Arse in their name?

Our teams play on November 20th... The Arse, LOL, Spurs rivalry is great! It's kind of like UNC-Duke. It's that intense. Their stadiums are only 7 miles apart. Edited by Good Vibes, Sep 5 2010, 12:11 PM.

Spurs 2-2-1. You never know with Tottenham...They go down a goal at halftime, then score 3 in the second half!! Supporting this team is fun! It's kind of like following the Steelers when Malone and Brister were their QBs.

That was a pathetic display of soccer by Spurs. They did make amends though, winning 4-1 against the Dutch side FC Twente in the Champions League! Next up, Aston Villa and the brilliant American goalkeeper Brad Friedel. He's retired from the national team, but was absolutely stellar in the '02 World Cup. The U.S. team would not have have made it to the quarterfinals if it wasn't for the guy from Ohio. |
