I went with the 2000 Rams, they were 13-3, two losses were by field goal and the other loss was the last game of the season when they rested everyone. That year they had the MVP - Warner, offensive player of the year Faulk and Rookie of the year- Holt. They were the greatest show on turf, with Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt and even their 3rd/4th receivers were dangerous . The only Superbowl they won even though they were favorites against New England a couple years later. A close second to Baltimore for the Defensive Team they had, but I the offense was so boring I think the only Team as exciting as those Rams that I remember was the Viking Team with Moss, Carter, Reed, Cunningham and Smith that lost in the NFC final to Atlanta |

I had to go with the 2005 Patriots. They went 14-2 and won the SB despite a rash of injuries to key players. Their offense was potent with the addition of Cory Dillon, who had a career season in 2004. They rang up the 15-1 Steelers for 41 points in the AFC Championhip game. The defense was a patchwork of replacements, but they played tough, holding the Colts offense to 3 points in the AFC divisional round. The radio guys were picking 2001 Baltimore team because of the defense, and it was as the best defensive squad of the decade, but Glenn B is right the offense was not exciting (but then again it didn't have to be). |

Maybe I am being partial but I will have to agree with Glenn with 2000 Rams. This team was an offensive jugernaut. |
