I don't like to miss. That's why I don't do it.

First, I would like to start with why this reform is needed. It seems as though during my leave of absence, all the other leaders of WK didn't care enough to run the clan. WK went into hibernation during the leave of absence of the leaders, therefore everyone thought that WK is dead. WK has a long history as the longest running clan in SS. We have only the best management, the best pilots, and the best ally; why the hell would a clan that has so much going for it just.... die? When the Saints and Knights Templar merged, we had a dream. A dream of making a community where players could gather. A place where players could make friends, engage in friendly competition, improve their skills, and become more renown in the world of SS. This dream, after the reform, will come true. WK was going dormant long before the leaders left. We debated about holding an election for a long while, but that never happened. All we did was wait until Hobs to come back thinking he would know what to do. That didn't happen. Hobs has a job, and he won't be back for a long time, if ever. I know, we all miss him, he always brightened up any situation he touched. He was a wizard with words.... truely. Waiting, however, is never going to work in this case. Someone needs to take action, and seeing as I'm the only one caring enough to give a damn, that's exactly what I am doing. Albion, when he was the sole leader, left WK out to dry. That leaves me, as the sole leader, and I declare myself dictator of WK. Now don't get me confused with a Stalin or Castro type of dictator, and you better not think of me like Blood. Think more of Julius Caesar, and like Julius Caesar, I don't like like autocracy. Julius Caesar was working to restore the senate of Rome, but until then he had to make things stable enough until the senate could take over and get back into power. His dream, however, was not realized as he was assassinated on the Ides of March in 44 B.C. Give me time, time to get things going. I will get this sorted and the council will have power again shortly. Let me take a little bit of time to talk about the autocratic government. There is no true "Rule of one". All autocracies are actually an Oligarchy, rule of the few. The dictator is more or less blamed for what happens in an autocracy, yet he's not solely responsible for what goes on. It's just more of a "One man, one vote" kind of thing. I'm the (wo)man, I get the vote. Now I must tell you who else has power. Codi is responsible for most the recently board changes. If you don't like something, blame me. If you do, blame Codi. Albion is trustworthy enough to have power, but I'm still keeping him in check until I get all the guidelines worked out. I can still repeal anything he tries to do, but I trust him not to do anything stupid. The future of the clan is outlined below. RANKS For the first time in Wayward Knight's history, I am introducing ranks. There are six ranks, each with more advantages than the last. The ranks in order from lowest to highest are as follows: Apprentice, Acolyte, Journeyman, Knight, Paladin and the special rank of Sentinel. There is also the added denomination of "initiate" which marks that that member has been with the clan for less than two weeks. Ranks: 1.Apprentice. This is the lowest you can be, and only obtainable through getting into the clan with a sponsor if you can't pass initiation. They can not partake in any events or meetings, but still has all freedoms and responsibilities as a regular member. 2.Acolyte. This rank is attained by achieving one point of excellence, but can't pass the initiation ritual. This rank's perks include: access to weekly events, access to host events with permission, access to create a subclan lead by a Knight or Paladin with permission, and access to attend clan meetings with a sponsoring Knight or Paladin. 3.Journeyman. This rank is attained by earning four points of excellence. They have many of the perks a Knight has, minus the ability to sponsor. Perks include: Access to monthly games, ability to host monthly events and all those an Acolyte has. 4.Knight. This is the lowest rank someone who has made it can have. The only way you can become a Knight is to pass initiation. Perks for them include: The ability to sponsor, help make improvements to the clan, have access to subclans, eligibility to be elected as a council member, they can initiate members with council permission, and has all perks a Journeyman has. 5.Paladin. This rank is only attainable by a Knight, and the only thing a Knight has to do to get this rank is to join a subclan. The perks they get are as follows: Paladins have a stronger voice when sponsoring players, they can do anything related to that subclan as long as the subclan's leader allows it and all perks a Knight has. 6.Sentinel. This rank is only achievable by Knights and Paladins who have won a monthly event. Even a Journeyman can get this rank if he or she wins the event, and once the time for the title is up, he or she becomes a full Knight. This rank is only kept until the that player's region's monthly game is next played. Perks include being a council member without election until the title is up, does not need council permission to be an initiator while holding this title and all perks a Knight has. HONOUR If you look at the side of your name in the clan roster, you will see asterisks. These are called "Honour" points and are vital for just about any member in the clan. For Apprentices, Acolytes and Journeymen, they are critical to becoming a Knight, or if you're really determined, a Paladin. However, Knights and paladins also get rewards for collecting these points. When you're sponsored into the clan as an Apprentice, you start with one point. That point is given to you simply by being sponsored. You need one more point to become an Acolyte. After you become an Acolyte, you need to get to more to become a Journeyman, and at Journeyman status, you need four more to become a full Knight. When you become a Knight, all your points are flushed and you will have to build up your count again, but at least you're a Knight. =D Knights and Paladins, however, will still benefit from accumulating points. You can cash them in for special titles, flashy board graphics, extra training and other things I am still desperately trying to think of. Points are like credits and used the same way, you see a perk you want, use the proper amount of points to purchase it. The total amount of points that the item or perk costs will be negated from how many points you currently have. A - B = C. Herp derp. Points aren't easy to get, especially if you're a Knight or Paladin. Points of Excellence are points that show excellence, so in order to get them you have to be... well.... excellent. Apprentices, Acolytes and Journeymen can use any method of obtaining points, while Knights and Paladins are restricted on how they can earn points. A list of how to get them is as follows: Being sponsored by a Knight or Paladin to gain entry (Can only have one sponsor, obviously this is only for Apprentices, Acolytes and Journeymen), Contributing time towards the clan's success, Completing a homework assignment, Showing up for an event will earn a point, winning an event will earn a point, partaking in three or more battles in that event will earn an additional point that stacks on top of the point you get for simply arriving, show us proof of your achievements and you will receive a point for every ten SS achievements, and one point for every forty FO achievements (Including SS achievements, this is only available to Knights and Paladins). Keep in mind that Honour can be deducted from you too. Picking fights with players within allied clans and or within the Wayward Knights themselves will get you points deducted. If you make our clan look bad by deciding to spend a whole game TK'ing or dropping EMP bombs constantly, hurting your allies more than your enemies in general, not beating the hell out of Tecs in fleet matches, getting demoted, running off new players to SS, attacking AFK players in a one on one, lying, cheating and other scandalous behaviour will all negate your honour. The amount of honour taken from you depends on how severe your crime is. EVENTS There are six events that occur each month, each event is targeted at a specific region of the world. However, just because a specific region is targeted, does not mean that only players from a country of that region can play in that match. Anyone can play in them as fit the parameters, but the event will be scheduled to fit the schedule of players within that region. Regions are marked to make it where anyone and everyone has a chance to play in an event. Region 1 is the eastern hemisphere, namely countries like Britain and germany. Region two is for the western hemisphere, namely countries like America and Canada. Four of these events happen weekly, and are marked with a "W". Weekly games are available to everyone in the clan or its allied clans except WK apprentices. Winners for the event will be posted on the sites of all participating clans and WK, regardless if anyone takes part or not. The last two events are monthly games that occur once a month for each region. Only Journymen, Knights and Paladins of WK are allowed in these events. The winner of the monthly event will be marked as a "Sentinel" of WK. There are two sentinels, one for each region. These events are also marked with an "M". Schedule: Week one: Region 1 W Week two: region 2 W/Region 1 M Week three: Region 1 W/Region 2 M Week four: Region 2 W Please.... we need volunteers to host these events. If you think you can host an event let us know and I'll see what I can do to get it set up for you to host. War.... War never changes. In the event of war, a date will be scheduled for battle. Any events near that date will be subject to change. Please, take note that a lot more will be added soon. Also the stuff on here now is subject to change.
