That is a very good question. I have my suspicions why and by who, but I will keep those to myself.

Might have had to do with the fact that a majority of the posters were talking about how their opinion is so much better than anyone else and if you don't agree you're "disgusting". Possibly the unnecessary arguments getting people all riled up was a good reason for deletion too.

As I feel that you're hinting at my responses Drew, I'd just like to point out to you that I wasn't the one who responded to the topic saying that 9/11 "wasn't a big deal."

And we weren't having unnecessary arguments, I simply asked everyone who felt that 9/11 was an inside job to back their opinion with facts.

I think its sad that a topic about the losses of innocent lives end up in flaming. And the reason why its more terrible than the tsunami in some ways, is because humans were behind it

Nah, the post was not pointed at anyone in particular. As far as 9/11 being not a big deal. I think that's going to change from person to person. There are people here who the attacks on the trade center don't really apply to them. I live all the way across the country, didn't know anyone involved in the attacks or know anyone who did. Sure I feel sympathetic for the family's of the people involved but it still doesn't effect me and to be honest I feel that thousands upon thousands of people being crushed to death in earth quakes, drowning in tsunami's and being exterminated by another country/tribe/whatever to be far more tragic. It's all a personal opinion and no one person is right or wrong.

While some people were fairly talking about the subject on 9/11 there were others going into a whole different ball park and starting to take things to a personal level.

Also because there is to much serious in this thread Posted Image

So why couldn't you make a thread for those people? The fact is, I went out of my way to pay tribute, and you shot us down. As far as other disasters, who should make the threads? Take action for Gods sake. No disaster is less important than the other.

With this I would agree with you. However, I don't agree it's from "person to person". Our country was attacked. Most understand that the tragedy was minimal statistically, but that how they died. While all of the things you listed were terrible tragedies, they were natural disasters, not a terror attack. It doesn't make their deaths any less or more, it just changes the nature of how they died, and how it effects those lucky enough to be spectators to the days events.

*sigh* When did I ever say you shouldn't have made the thread? Halo, I don't think both of us are getting what the other is trying to say. :ermm: :-/

Needless to say I'm done with these threads. :bang:

You lot sound just like an old poster... I'll point out the obvious, because it seems like the idea is going right over your head: The internet is another place to discuss things. Not a place where you hide behind the computer and flex internet muscles.
