Mandy bringing the hammer. Well done, and I mean that.

Let me just go quote by quote, just to share my contempt for you lot.

Quote:

Lets mark the day of [possibly] the worlds Larges conspiracy. Hurray.
Call me Un-American(Go figure, right?) but BIG deal. People died daily during the World Wars. You know, those wars that lasted YEARS. I don't recall any "Remember D-day" posts being made.

Of course people died, that's the nature of war. On Sept. 11th, civilians were targeted in their place of work. And it is a big deal when the family of 3,000 people lose a husband or wife, or a sibling, or a son to a terrorist attack.

Quote:

i agree, tousands more died in wars and other natural disasters than 9-11. you ask the average person they have no clue how many ppl died. it was around 3,000 people. I feel for their families but cmon 150,000 ppl died in tsunamis in asia.....

So because 150,000 people died, the 3,000 who died on Sept. 11 or somehow unimportant? And if you ask the average person about that day, they could tell you exactly where they were when they heard the news. I'm sure they could remember the death toll.

Quote:

I Hate to sound so cold hearted but i think you should just move on because it doesnt do no good to anyone to remember how many people died infact it makes it worse because it brings back the bad emotions

Sorry the world isn't 'candy and flower' land. People die and when they do, they should be remembered, not forgotten. And who hasn't moved on? Everyone has moved on, it's been seven years. We had our period of grief, then we got back to life, just like every mature adult has done in the same situation. You can't afford to grieve forever, but we sure as hell can't forget that day. If we do, it'll happen again.

People want to pretend to be all "macho", that's fine... Just a reminder though, you aren't macho by demeaning the deaths of 3,000 innocent people. You just continue to look like fools.

Never forget, never forgive, and punish those who attacked us. God bless America.

A lot of people here are like the people at my school. They think of it as some people killed and a couple of buildings needing to be rebuilt. They basically don't care much at all. I do care. I was in New York only a week before that happened. I was in those buildings only a week before that happened. As I stood there on my first day of school I saw all these horrible things happening and I thought "That could have been me". Not only was that my first day of school, but we had to write a story and draw a picture of what we did that summer. I wrote about New York and drew a picture of the two huge towers. So you guys can not care all you want, but I will always remember.

Oh and Halo said exactly what one of my teachers told me. If you forget it will happen again.

halo took the words right out of my mouth.

can you guys listen to yourselves?
im sorry but you all disgust me.

sure more died in the world wars. sure more died in the tsunami. that makes all the people who died in 9-11 unworthy of remeberance?

.....i don't even know what to say........ I'm completly speechless that some of you are that cold, arrogant, stubborn and inhuman.

You let them go... All we can do. If they want to go to hell, then they can enjoy hell. We sure won't miss you.

I edited the Title from Seot 11 to SePt 11.

Im sorry, but I'm not saying we should forget, but I dont recall ANYONE making a D-Day post. Not a Battle for Iwo Jima remembrance, nor Pearl Harbor (To name a few American-involved engagements). Many of you are blinded by what the news tells you, and currently it's the "WAR OF TERRORISM", and fucking up other counties in your Crusade (Leaving it to other counties to fix up the problem).

Oh, and Celtic. See you there, in that made up place called Hell. You all believe in what the church tells you, right? "God" bless America.

Edit: I dont recall even a REMEMBRANCE day post being made on the old forum.

You're making mentions of military-based engagements. Not an engagement on a civilian population. (though you could make the argument for Pearl Harbor, but nonetheless, it was an attack on a military base)

And who/what are you being blinded by to believe that this "crusade" is doing nothing but causing trouble? If you're willing to call Americans blind for the support of a war you see as unjustified, what facts to you have to state otherwise?

Now we're to demeaning personal beliefs, as well as country? :coffee2:

Also, this is a topic about 9/11, not the war in the Middle East. All personal feelings aside about the conflict, it shouldn't have any effect on the emotions felt on the attack, i.e, their deaths weren't anything less because of the atrocities committed overseas.

It's not being open minded believing the study of people who have the scientific evidence to post their beliefs on YouTube. If they had any scientific warrant, their opinions would be in a more respectable place.
