Thought I'd share this video with you guys. Its by a group called extra credits, they pretty much deconstruct games and its actually pretty interesting seeing how things are actually done.

Anyway, this ones about microtransactions, the right way, and the wrong way to do it. I find a lot of the points they make apply to wol and rs.

Bring back ads and do away with these microtransactions, i play another game and they let you earn credits by doing surveys an other stuff i know its not ideal but least its not costing cash

If they're going to do microtransactions, at least do it right. Just allow us to buy some auras/emotes/re-colorings/bank space.. Letting us buy xp and items is NOT the way to do it.

Doesn't really bother me, since I no longer pay anything to Jagex because they did nothing for me.

Very good video, though, but microtransactions are becoming too commonplace on the Internet today. I don't like them.

Heres another one that I feel applies to jagex as well. This one applies more to jagex's business strategy and development.
