I went for 2 Radeon 6950 graphics cards in crossfire in stead of the single gtx 570. No SSD (solid state drive)? You already bought most so can't really change much ^^ Seem to have missed the cooling?

Yeah i was looking at 6950 but couldnt afford two so went with 570, i knew id forget sumin lol cooling might be one of these got one in post for a m8 going to check it in the case and if it fits il get one. SSD after xmas when i can afford a 120 gig but right now got to be the WD blue.

4 gig should be enough recommend specs say 4 an helped my m8 build his and hes running ultra settings differnt cpu/mobo tho but cant see there being a problem i hope lol.

I went for 8gig just to be safe, but yea 4gig ram should normally do ...

Cooling is quite an important thing to miss ... lol ^^ I went for a scythe mugen 2, dont know too much about these (i'm not exactly an overclocker...)

I would get the SSD already if I was you but ...

How much are you paying in total you figure (including everything, screen, mouse, keyboard, speakers etc...) if I'm allowed to ask?

I would have probly gone for 8 gig aswell but trying to stick to a budget of £700, already gone over that tho and just trying to limit the damage to my wallet now lol.

Not so much forget about cooling just forgot to add it to the list above :$ hehe from what ive heard you cant go wrong with scythe i was looking at Scythe Ninja 3, but a m8 asked me to get him a akasa h/s an thought il try that because its getting posted to me an seems pretty good from the reviews.

Monitor is in the list above m8 an i have a spare G5 mouse an this keyboard

I'd add more RAM (another 2X2 pair at the same speed). Also, not a fan of that GPU... ~$400 for a 570 with 1.25Gb of RAM? It might just be the UK market, but damn, I can get several better cards for cheaper from newegg here in the US. If it is just the UK market, maybe just get him one 3950 and get a second one for his birthday?

Might have been better going for 2 of these in Crossfire

Its not worse than a 6850, Amd/Ati changed their naming scheme in the 6XXX series, its more equivalent to a 6950
