TWO Top Spots

Well this has been really annoying me lately. Que story:

I'm in CC, poundin and everything. It's just about the end of the match, and I check the scores. Two guys are in front of me, and I have like 65pts.

End of the round comes, I check to see how they got their points. First place has 3 caps, second has 2, I have none. I still come in at third place, only like 10 pts behind them both. All my points were mostly from combat, some from saving the flag.

Now, I really think that in Starhawk/Warhawk 2/Warhawk3, there should be two top spots. One for pts overall, and one for best combat. Therefor, letting the room know who the top player really is (in combat terms)

What do you guys think of it? :)

It wasn't a DM or TDM....

I'm sorry but the guys capping the flag are just as important as the one saving it or killing enemy flag carriers...balance is the key.

Players that have more combat than team points are bad ass.

@ rsteele. Their not important when our team has 7 players and the other team has 2, and their both noobs. I made this topic when I was mad after being in a match like that.

Yes, they are important when the teams are even, and their evenly matched, but other wise, not so much.

But it'd still be cool to have two spots, right? :)

I usually sort the scores by total points, kills, and team points at least once before the next game starts...

If you out numbered the other team by that much :( first of all...I understand anyone not playing towards the mode objective and finishes in the top spots is evidence that the way the modes are scored isn't as good as it could be. It's the same thing when the person that gets warhawk wings in TDM but has a KDR under 1 and loads of team points while they weren't doing the killing the were still doing something...much better than the person at home base with 2 turret kills and no deaths and no team points...This game can cause heaps of frustration...
