For me, I like the small features that can be very useful. An example is how if you middle click to open a tab in IE it will keep your favorites open to select another link to open, but FF does not do that. Also, another reason I like IE over FF is how the favorites are kept as seperate files, unlike FF which stores it all in one HTML file (unless I found the wrong file or something).

Mozilla is made by the best Netscape people. Firefox, not IE, has won several awards for being the most reliable and secure web browser. Add-ons are also a huge part of owning Firefox. You can change themes, add tools to help you download youtube videos and etc, its proven to display web pages faster, plus way more than that.

Preference is fine, but fact is Firefox.

Why does it matter??? From what I've noticed they all seem exactly the same. You type in a website and go to it? Why doyou need a special broswer?

If you're not looking for bells, whistles, or speed, then they are exactly the same =).

speed isn't noticably different and I frequently switch internets when I try to use Firefox because it tards out frequently (atleast on the computers I use).

Well, for a while I used to use Firefox. It was great because they came up with updates that you get to install. I also liked some of the add-ons they had. But Firefox was slow, and it buggered out on me at times. Internet Explorer, you get to middle click on the tabs, and for some reason files download faster for me on IE. That's why I use it more than Firefox.
