While this may not totally affect us, it's interesting to note for a few reasons I'll talk about later in this post.

Quoted from Yugioh Wikia:
"To be released in September 2009, this Booster Pack [Extra Pack Volume 2] for the OCG contains TCG-exclusive cards from the sets Light of Destruction, The Duelist Genesis, Crossroads of Chaos and Crimson Crisis."

In case you didn't know, OCG is Japan and TCG is America. This in short means some America print only cards will be released in japan.

There are quite a few good cards that are commonly used in America today coming out in this pack. Many Lightsworns and cards I didn't even know where TCG exclusive like Cactus Fighter come out in Japan. This will hopefully mean some exploited cards from the TCG will force some cards onto the ban list in the future, evening out its effectiveness in America.

It's funny that Tsujen runs a lot of these, or more than most.

Here's a list of some of the most interesting cards on that list:
Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid
Ehren, Lightsworn Monk
Dark General Freed
Magical Exemplar
Nimble Musasabi
Avenging Knight Parshath
Charge of the Light Brigade
Rose, Warrior of Revenge
Cactus Fighter
Rai-Mei
Colossal Fighter/Assault Mode
Totem Dragon
Royal Swamp Eel
Submarine Frog

The first that I saw was there's a bunch of Lightsworn support. This will probably mean Lightsworns will get nailed on the next ban list.

Rose, Warrior of Revenge is interesting, it doesn't mean anything though since Japan has had Flamvell Magician and Mist Valley Soldier for forever now.

I thought Royal Swamp Eel was interesting because this may be the reason Fish decks have not caught on yet. Since it's not totally obvious to Americans a deck is good until it's good in Japan and Royal Swamp Eel is essential for a really good fish deck it would make sense that they haven't caught on if it doesn't exist in Japan. Or maybe not.

Totem Dragon is just amazing... Red Eyes Decks maybe?

There's a lot of helpful Spellcaster support in this pack, so maybe spellcaster decks will make a comeback in Japan, especially with the release of Fortune Ladies.
