Grading System Presentation Grade percentages: Opening: 0% - 10% First impressions are everything. If you start the training in a boring and unacceptable way, the Recruit is most likely not going to be paying attention to the training or you. This is why we need you to read of the guide, so it’s not boring nor the funniest time of your life. You need to be serious but relaxed. This also follows through out the training. Spelling and Grammar Grade percentages: Spelling: 0% - 20% Capitalization, Commas, etc.: 0 - 10% Extra: 0% - 10% I know everyone makes mistakes on spelling and grammar, but this is one really important topic. Now if you misspell a word, but we still understand what your saying, its fine. It’s not okay though when you spell a word how a 1st grader will spell it. A lot of Recruits don’t ask questions, so if you misspell a word or say something completely ridiculous they won’t understand. Not only is that a problem for you, but for the whole military. People can walk in our military, seeing some of our personnel, acting stupid and having no idea what to do. That can change their whole attitude about our military. Control 0 - 10% The way they made sure the recruits respected him/her while training, and did not play around or speak out of tone. They follow the trainers rules, and the trainer made sure they follow the rules. They didn't had to spend a lot of time on making sure the recruits got back in line. Time managementTime management 0% to 30% Alright, I’ve seen some really long training and some really short ones. If you have 3-5 recruits, and you take 25-35 minutes that’s fine. But if you have one recruits and take 20 minutes, that’s overboard. If the recruit is doing really badly, fail them. Don’t waste your time, on one person. Another reason why NOT to take long is sometimes if you take too long of training, when you get back to HQ… no one is there. Now if you have three recruits, and take 20 minutes that’s a problem. That show’s me that you took no time of seeing how your recruits were doing, and just shoved the training down the throats. Then when they get tested back in HQ, they fail. Bottom line: Be reasonable with time. Explanation(s) Grading percentages How well they explained: 0% - 20% The title explains it all. How well did you explain that topic in the training? Did you skip some words, went over detail, or just right? It all depends. We don’t want you to pound the recruit with the same information over and over; we just want it short and simple. Not short enough, that the recruit doesn’t understand it. Grading Scale The grades are a total of 100%. Add all the percentages up, and you'll have your answer. For example: 9+16+8+8+25+19 = 85% Grades 98% - 100% = A+ 94% - 97% = A 90% - 93% = A- 88% - 89% = B+ 84% - 87% = B 80% - 83% = B- 79% = C+ 75% - 78% - C 70% - 74% = C- 0% - 69% = D (Failed)** ** If the trainer get's a D or lower, he or she then needs another trainer to help him/her until a Officer or the Head NCO can re-grade him/her. |
