Went down to the Pod today and despite the head wind and very sticky start I managed to get a 12.51 which is 2 tenths faster than my previous best time at pod; if I can get the launch right and not have a head wind i think i could get that down to a 12.3.

I'm now happy to say what the car made on the dyno....

....366bhp & 366lb/ft which is 9hp & 14lb/ft less than before the mods and map.
It may not be showing the numbers but you can't dispute the time ;)

Now I need to get the wheels and suspension on and that should also help me get closer to the 12 dead mark.

For anyone that cares, the only other cars than georges and pablo's that were running today were full on 800-2000bhp dragsters, the start line was like superglue and we were warned by the marshalls to be careful launching off the line because of how sticky and warm it was, it was definitely not the day to be running 370bhp 4wd cars lol.
The first couple of runs were awful and both the guys bogged down really badly.
And then the head wind started lol.
I think if today had been a normal RWYB instead of a drag car test day, and George could of got a slight bit of wheel spin off the line then we would have seen a low 12.
When I ran an 11.8 in my Impreza my ET speed was 111mph, George's best ET speed was 109mph. There's deffo more to come Georgie Porgie! :D

....366bhp & 366lb/ft wHAT ARE THE STOCK FIGURES FOR A 360.

Good times and as Chris says with a better start should do better :tu:

Mine made 390/415 and ran a lille quicker so you should be as quick on a twin plate.

Here's a piccy of the dyno printouts before and after (before being when the car had just the decat, intake and map); both readings are from the same dyno.

Peak figures, everybody looks at the peak bhp figures, the fact of the matter is that even with a bad start and a head wind it was quicker over the 1/4 mile than it was before we worked on it.
Paul Blamire was asked by me to map it so it's quicker up the 1/4 mile and has better drivability than the map that it had when it was stage one'd. And that is what was achieved. The car is quicker throughout the rev range and pulls a hell of alot better. There has been alot of comments by people who know the car and have seen it every week since George has owned it, about how quicker it is now.
The next time we map it, when it's had more work it's going on a dyno to be mapped for numbers and bullshit bragging rights.
He should have been running low 12's yesterday, but on the vid's u can see it bogging down off the start and the standard suspension sagging like fook on the rear.

Nick your's also has uprated springs so the rear end is stiffened therefore you're getting less squat off the line, which is where george is losing time.

The Bad Run, shows how sticky the start line was

The 12.51 Run

You can see george's rear end squat down at the start which loses time, with stiffer suspension, a better start and a trap time of 110mph it should run a v.low 12 / high 11 seconds.

1.87 - 60ft
5.23 - 330ft
8.03 - 1/8 ET
87.03 - 1/8 mph
10.45 - 1000' ET
101.03 - 1000' mph
12.51 - 1/4 ET
109.12 - 1/4 mph
