Go to monster motorsport in Loughborough. They have a dyno dynamics 4wd set of rollers and a re a good bunch. If you speak to Mike (or Neil the owner) and mention me (Dave of the ex, red seat leon Cupra K1) recommended you come to them they may knock a few quid off. My K1 was dyno'd there a few times and they did the mapping a few bits of work for me. My dyno vid is still on their website (shame they only used the standard run&graph and not the one running 320bhp) Usual price is about 50 quid I think for 3 runs plus graph print out http://www.monstermotorsport.com/index.shtml |

The car was dyno'd at ScoobyWorld (monstermotorsport) but I'm not going to quote any numbers until I've run it up the strip; I will say that the graph shows very smooth power and torque curves with no peaks or troughs (unlike my dyno last year). It's also getting onto full boost 500rpm earlier. It seemed to pulling on james quite nicely the other night, after he had a head start off the R/A, so hopefully there'll be a noticeable improvement on the strip. I've also got enough in the bank now for a couple of new mods: Suspension: HSD HR coilover. I can't find a bad review anywhere about these and they seem to be perfect for the general use of the car. Also the price is awesome! ![]() Wheels: OZ Alleggerita 18x8 or 18x8.5 One of the lightest (and best looking) wheels I could find for the budget. They are about 0.5kg lighter than my current 17's. ![]() I'll hopefully have this stuff on within the next month, Pablo better be ready |

I was at the pod weekend just gone (Japshow), great couple of days out. Some good evos (road legal) on the strip running 11's and low 12's. I resisted the temptation to run mine for fear of being wasted by a civic or a micra!! I have a few vids of mates running their evos. Looking good George, wheels look smart, you cant go wrong with them. I have heard they can buckle easily being lightweight so mind the kerbs! Not heard of the coilovers you speak of, will be interesting to heard what you think. I was looking at the BC Racing RM series coliovers but seen some indifferent reviews to suggest the top mounts are a bit rubbish ? Edited by Invisible, Jun 21 2011, 11:20 AM.

Have a search on the MLR, there seem to be a lot of threads concerning the BC series. Originally I was going to save up for some Ohlins R&T but, thanks to chris, I've now changed my mind and I really can't justify spending that much on a set of suspension when it's not going to get used to its fullest. All the problems with the BC coilovers have been resolved, although the knocking issues where generally on the BR series not the RM series. They are excellent value for money. (especially at my prices )

£775 all in for the HSDs so about the same as the BC RM's then aren't they? I'm stil saving the coins but they keep getting used for other things ![]() I might leans back towards the BC ones then in time. Everyone joked about how high my car was at Santa Pod at the weekend
