I got Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii on Tuesday. :) I think it's great! What do you think? Has anyone else got it, and how far have you got?

I love the game, I got it for the PS3 for Christmas. I am loving the song-list and I haven't even hooked it up to the net yet to download the songs made by everyone!

My friend has the first Rockband, but I never really liked it as much as Guitar Hero, so when RB2 and GH:WT came out, I went for World Tour.

How far are you through the game?

I've made a band with my lil brother. I play guitar/drums on hard, he plays guitar/drums on easy (he is only 9 :P ). We've just finished the second to last gig and only have the last one left (except for 2 you have to pay for).

I think the game is great. I love the song list (and I too haven't downloaded any yet). The game play is very good, and the developers have made the drums work really well. I like the song creator, though I have no idea how it works. :P

I also have Guitar Hero: 3 so I'm pretty good at the game. There aren't many really hard song on this game, so on guitar I could probably beat 90% of the songs on expert. And I only have the guitar game, although I might end up picking up the drums later after playing them at someone's house when I was babysitting. xD

So, I've played through all the gigs. We were snowed in the week of Christmas, so I beat it within the week.

Ok. This is the first Guitar Hero game I've had. I've had a lil practice with other people, but not that much. I could probably complete some of the easier expert songs now.-

What are some of your favorite song to play? Mine are Mr Crowley, Some Might Say, Re-Education Through Labor, and Pull Me Under.

My favorite song is Pull Me Under as it is by my favorite band, I can't believe they chose it as the credits song. I thought that was too cool.

I like some of the easiesr ones (Beat It, Eye of the Tiger, etc) as I know them well. I like Mr Crowley, too. I am looking forward to Assassins, as that is one of my favourites. :) I was surprised to see Coldplay on there, but I did like Shiver, too. :)

I have moved this to the new Gaming Forum.

Ugh, I like the song Assassin, but not very fun to play. It is VERY hard.

Is it? Sounds like it will be hard, then. My little brother is starting to have trouble playing some on the drums (easy), so I wonder how he'll cope... :P

I was wondering, is the last gig much harder than the ones before?

Well, just so you now the Times Square gig isn't the last one, there is one after that.

But they aren't difficult to pass at all on hard for me, but there are several songs in the last two gigs that I cannot pass including Satch Boogie, the hardest song in the game.

If I remember correctly the gig with Assassin was toward the middle. But then again I did the ones you have to pay for right away.

I think there are around twelve gigs.

Yeah, the way they designed it I thought I was almost done throughout most of the game.

There are a lot of songs, it seems to me like there are more than the other guitar hero games. And it does take longer because all of the songs are integrated into the campaign unlike previous games which had numerous 'bonus songs'.

Ah, ok. :) That's good - it means I won't complete it in a week and have nothing to do. :P
