Who else here loves Carcass? Fucking awesome death metal pioneers! I saw them live this year and my god it was amazing :D I met Mike Amott, Bill Steer and Daniel Elrondssen afterwards too, fucking chill dudes. But yeah, discuss the awesomeness that is Carcass! |

I love carcass more than pizza. And that's a lot. One of those bands who simply don't have a bad release to their name. |

Agreed, man. From their early more grind/death stuff to their later more melo/death stuff, they're just perfection in metal. |

They're incredible. Want blasphemy? I got Heartwork because I'm an AE fan, and I was surprised how much Angela Jeff sounds. Obviously, I know, it's the other way around, but that was my first impression. |

:D That's pretty amusing, aye. I must admit, the only reason I got into carcass was that I knew they were pretty much the pre-AE AE. I still think of Arch Enemy as pretty much a continuation of Carcass, but a lot of the early AE stuff is crappy. They didn't really get good until they found Angela. |

Blasphemy is saying that AE are a continuation of Carcass. That's just ridiculous. AE are awful by the way :p |

How is it? Listen to Heartwork, then follow it up with the Angela Gossow Arch Enemy stuff. The musical style is like a direct continuation. It's just the force of the Ammot in there. |

I mean that Carcass should be remembered for their good albums, not Heartwork/Swansong :D |

Your tiny mind just can't accept the melody. You physically cannot hear it because it does not meet your instinctive 666agressionraw meter. |
