I have only heard a few of their albums, but all I can say is wow. This is what I want from death metal, instead of stuff like Cannibal Corpse. Anyway, what's your favourite line-up/era and album? What do you think of the change in their, or should I say his music during the years?

The first album I got was Human and I think its still my favourite but The Sound Of Perseverance comes pretty close. Symbolic is pretty good too. I like all the albums though and how each one is a clear progression from the last. I have never heard the Control Denied album but I do intend to get it at some point. Chuck was an awesome song writer and its a damn shame he's not still with us.

Anyone who wishes to commemorate the genius that was Chuck Schuldiner on this day should listen to only Death albums all day. Control Denied and Voodoocult are also acceptable. I imagine there are people who do this anyway but I have started promotion of this day on the Evile forum and there has been a fair bit of support for it.

I'll celebrate it. checks what he has by Death ok, so in the way of studio albums I have: Scream Bloody Gore Leprosy Spiritual Healing Human Individual Thought Patterns The Sound of Perseverance is that complete or near complete?
