Administhrasher Posts: 364 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jun 14, 2008	This is pretty cool stuff, my main criticism about it is of the production, and is pretty much the same criticism for all people that use Acoustica Beatcraft, that is that the drums sound too well produced and the rest doesn't sound quite as good which creates a weird, kinda home-made affect. I'm not sure how to remedy this though :P

Any future solo efforts will have decent drums using MU.LAB and VST thingymajigs, as I have recently ordered a MIDI keyboard. There may also be some symphonic flair; nothing on the level of Nightwish, but maybe the odd string section. But "pretty cool stuff" is a huge compliment coming from the Elitist of Elitists :P

I'm nearly complete with my Onslaught recordings; Witch Hunt is 100% finished, Lightning War is almost through the first hurdle of having drum and bass tracks completed. I've been on a riff writing binge lately, and after the onslaught stuff is up, I'm gonna look into finding band members, recording and releasing a full length, and generally getting shit moving :) I'm thinking of making a demo and sending it of to labels now that I have the equipment to make decent sounding recordings. I'll re-do a couple of tracks from the EP and throw on one of the Onslaught covers. If I manage to get label support it'll be a lot easier to find willing band members; my main problem is finding people who are actually serious about their music. I keep meeting people who just want a band to waste time at weekends, but I want something much more than that. Even if we don't get famous, I at least want Vindicator to get somewhere. ... I should probably put this in a Myspace blog :P

Newbie Posts: 10 Group: Members Member #44 Joined: Jan 24, 2009	Wow, i think the production quality is quite outstanding actually and though the vocals (I'm presuming yours, seeing as you're the only on listed ) aren't quite my thing, they certainly sound professional. My personal tastes are a bit harsher, edged and um, less grunty, but it's not my stuff obviously. Also, I wish I could play guitar as well as you. =( Hope you have luck finding a band and getting signed.

I was going to have a song that references 1984 and have a sample from the movie in front of it, but you beat me to it with Crimethink. Anyways, this shit is awesome, and has a fuck ton of potential. The only criticism I have is the vocals are kind of weak. I think for your next recordings you should try to actually growl, if you can. Also, Solar Vikings is epic, but it's a just little drawn out.
