I really enjoyed MOLAD, Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg is a fucking awesome song. The Longest Day, and The Pilgrim was really good too.

They're not bad bands, but there's music I'd rather listen to. Maiden did put on an awesome show last Febraury that I really enjoyed. Also Priest have one of the nicest ballads, Angel and Blood Red Skies.

I liked more songs from Dance Of Death I think. I really like Paschendale and Montsegur.

Rainmaker saved my sanity. I was stuck in a freezing upstair workshop building bicycles with a radio that was stuck on the local station that only plays crap pop on a 2 hour loop. So a bit of heavy metal every couple of hours was most welcome.

Yeah, it's a good album. However, it is repetitive as hell, and with every song being like 9 minutes long, it seriously drags on.

I usually just listen to ROBB, and then go back to fellating Powerslave. Powerslave is an amazing album.

Powerslave is really good. I prefer Piece of Mind and possibly, just maybe, NotB

NotB has some of their best stuff yeah, but as a whole I find PoM a bit bland compared to the other two.

That trilogy of albums are all fucking great though. It's just a shame they released 3 incredible albums in a row, and then descended into utter cheese-glam wankery immediately after.

I love you.

Seriously, five awesome albums and a huge dip afterwards. I like No Prayer, The X-Factor, and Brave New World too but otherwise they're incredibly inconsistent.

Indeed.

SSoa SS and Somewhere In Time make me physically ill upon listening :P Brave New World, Dance Of Death and AMOLAD have been marked improvements, however.

What I like about Iron Maiden also is how they don't ignore the stuff they did when Bruce wasn't in the band. I suppose I'm mainly referring to the Bayley era stuff cause they've always done the Di'Anno stuff.

Bruce singing The Clansman, on Rock In Rio, had far more feeling in it than Bayley ever put into it.

To be frank, Blaze was a wank vocalist. I hate him with a passion, but that might just be cos hes not Bruce. If he asked, I would do anything for him.....and i mean annnnyyyything.
