Don't post about death metal in the thrash metal section, don't post about thrash metal in the other metal section, and so on. If you want to complain about the site or make a suggestion, take it to the Site Feedback forum. 2. Don't spam. I don't define spam like U-G defines it. What I mean is don't post random crap over and over again. General discussion is what UG reckons is spam, and it's allowed here, but keep it to the general discussion forum. 3. No porn, or extremely gory image, or anything racist. This is a metal site, not a porn site. And we don't like racists. Racist jokes are OK, as long as you don't believe in them and it is CLEAR that you are joking. A smily face generally gets the message across that you are joking :). Think about the tone of your message before you post it... Now, for the banning system: There are only two bans. The first lasts 2 weeks and the second is permanent. If you didn't learn your lesson the first time, we don't want you here. If your offense doesn't warrant a ban, you'll be warned. A warning expires in 30 days, no more, no less. Basically this is how you get permabanned: Day 1: Get warned Day 29: Get warned Day 29: You are now banned for 2 weeks If you receive a warning within 30 days of you're first unbanning, you'll be permabanned. If you don't, it'll continue like this: Day 60: Warned Day 89: Warned (permabanned) So, technically you could get warned every 31 days and never get banned. But keep in mind that we aren't robots, and we will ban you if we don't think you're ever going to learn. Posting porn or extremely gory imagery will get you a 2 week ban. Posting racist stuff will get you a permanent ban. Spamming will range from anywhere between a warning and a permanent ban, and it is up to the moderators and administrators to decide how to punish you. If you post the wrong thing in a forum, as long as its not something against the rules, then you'll receive a warning.
