Yes, he would make a fantastic safety. That's why I made that comparison: it still wouldnt make any sense. For the record: yeah, I'd probably reject the idea of any DT playing part time FB. My first request would be that butch actually put a goalline package into the playbook where the QB gets under center and lets the RB get the ball moving forward. If the novelty of playing KMac @ FB gets him motivated to do that, I'm good. But I'd be just as happy if we slide someone like Jakob Johnson* in to do it. *he could also block my ass off. |

I agree Zippy.....Our system (and others) on the goal line gets my blood pressure through the roof. Ball on the one.....QB on the 6....RB on the 10. Yeah, that's the damn ticket!!! No wonder Butch played in the high school band!! Edited by Tnphil, Aug 4 2016, 04:48 PM.

Too much parrellell running down near the goal line and in short yardage situations. My preference is to move more vertically in those situations. |
