Jalen Hurd shatters NFL stigma surrounding oversized RBs A column about Hurd, but the writer has obviously not watched Hurd play very often. The writer questions Hurd's ability to separate himself from theater big backs Where has this writer been?. He can run, catch, and block as well as any RB in college football. Honestly, I don't believe that there is a more rounded back in the collegiate game, then Hurd. Read this column and you may see what we are struggling land a top RB in recruiting to take Hurd's place next season. The stud RBs wan t to play in a I formation or pro-set offense, not in a spread scheme. |

Been posting that for a long time.....Power backs never, ever should be getting the ball 8 yards deep standing still. Dumbest thing I've ever seen. |

Hurd is the best blocking back we have had in my lifetime (or longer). If the great backs all want to play out of an I, they have like 3 colleges to choose from. Damn near everyone is running some version of this spread shit today. |
