Building depth in the trenches on both sides of the ball is imperative to success in the SEC. We saw Dooley fail to recruit OL talent after his first heralded class. Butch struggled with it his first year or so and struggled to sign defend give linemen in last years class. We have some very good defensive tackles on the team, but you can't make hay with 2 quality DTs in the future. Your top teams are able to rotate quality DTs and have depth there. Butch realizes this and is addressing this need in this class. * Brayon Gaddy - DT * Brandon Gaddy - athlete - will be DE in all likelihood * Eric Crosby - DT * Kivon Bennett Those are some very good developmental DTs. All have verged size, but even greater athleticism. |

Most of the knowledgeable national commentators consider the main difference between the sec and other conferences is the athleticism of the d line. For our Vawlz to succeed in , we absolutely must have these difference makers in numbers. |
