I missed Hubbs 's segment ion 104.5 The Wake Up Zone this morning. I rolled into my driveway at 3 AM this morning on my way home from Columbus, GA. Here is a synopsis of the segment courtesy of a poster on VQ who posted it. The highlighted questions are paraphrased questions from Mark Howard, Frank Wycheck, and Kevin Ingram.

Has Tennessee send you your mockup of Beyonce on the cover of Rolling Stone like they did Shy Tuttle? No. Another example of TN's creativity. Got a lot of national publicity yesterday. When Butch does those type of things people pick up on it and make stories out of it for whatever reasons. Graphic artist is on staff. Made an impression with Shy and that is why he tweeted it out.

It was all over Sportscenter. A rolling billboard for TN for about 6 hours? Think about this. TN's two Sportcenter highlights the last few months has been a Beyonce magazine cover and a pass caught at practice my a JUCO transfer Von Pearson. How do you get those two things national I am not sure but hats off to them.

Do they feel confident they will get a commitment from Shy Tuttle? I think TN like's where they sit with Tuttle ( boom). He is scheduled to do something late September. NCST will not go quietly into the night. NC is still trying but NCST really is TN only competition at this point. TN has had the momentum last several weeks.

Any indication who the backup QB will be? Butch wouldn't say yesterday. Keep seeing Peterman get second team reps. They are kind of split up rep wise equally but we see the first guy out being Peterman. If there was an injury situation to Worley I think both would play. If it was a one play deal where Worley lost an helmet or shoe I think Peterman would play.

2 deep depth chart consisting of 15 Freshman? Have you ever seen that many before? No I haven't. Will be interesting who they roll out in the 2 deep. Interesting seeing Colton Jumper as the backup to AJ Johnson. A bit of surprise. He has not been mentioned much and we have not seen him get many reps with the two's at practice. I think TN will open up at Nickel seeing the type of team they play Sunday night. Will Moseley start at corner or will it be Michael Williams and then you see Coleman slide into Nickel? Never seen anything like all these freshman before.

What about Chuckie Keaton and the problems he will give Jancek's defense? All about contain. Keep him from the breakout plays. He will run around and make plays. That's what he does best. Mobile QB's last year to TN where kryptonite. It wasn't just Nick Marshall last year. Everybody who had the ability to run at the QB position gave TN a lot of problems. The speed on defense that the coaches have bragged about Fall Camp really has to show up Sunday night. Keaton is coming off an ACL so it will be interesting to see how he moves. Everyone we have talked to seems like he has recovered extremely well.

How much confidence do you think Butch and Coach Jake have in the OL? Confidence yes. Concerns absolutely. OL is one of the biggest worries going into this game. They have to get the ball out of Worley's hands on time. Worley can't pat the ball and hang around the pocket. He has got to get it out quick. Has to have a pocket presence about him. Got to have a running back be more productive than what they really are. They will play different guys on the OL and we will see how the shuffle works out. No question the biggest question marks are on both side of the line of scrimmage.

What stood out with Worley on how he won the starting job? His commitment. His desire to be the guy. Got a taste of it last year with his success on how he played against Georgia and South Carolina. By no means he was perfect. He guided TN to a 4 and 2 record before the injury took place. Big win over USC and he was starting to feel it. The injury actually drove him to be a better QB. He saw where he was going with his game and he wanted to get back there. He has always been a leader. His attitude is that this is my team. This is my offense.

What does it say about the depth at secondary when they will use Cam Sutton at punt returner? It says they have depth. Wanted him there last year but did not feel comfortable depth wise if he got hurt. Remember this is a program last year that could not play Dime due to depth. Played basically last year with two corners they felt comfortable with. They want to get playmakers back there at punt returner and the reason they are doing that is because they feel comfortable with their depth at corner.

How dangerous can Sutton be returning punts? I like him. He is a guy who did everything in high School. Catches the ball cleanly and is decisive with the ball. I have never seen him do it in front of 100,000 people. From what we have seen at practice he has caught it cleanly. Good awareness. Curious to see him perform Sunday night.

Will this be a mystery team Sunday night? Offensive schemes? TN likes to get the ball quickly into the hands of their play makers. Feel like they have more weapons on the outside compared to a year ago. Feel like they can make bigger plays now compared to a year ago. Biggest transformation fans will see with this offense will be the TE position. With Wolf and Helm and the depth they have they can schematically be different than what they could do a year ago. Biggest belief TN have is that they don't have to generate 12 positive plays to kick a field goal. They feel they can throw a 5 yard hitch and make a big play or get behind the defense with a big play. Make a run where a guy miss and make a 40 yard play. Want be a huge schematic change from last year but will have different weapons.

Utah State will dare you to run or dare you to throw? I think Utah St. will be really aggressive. They do some unusual things with the LB's. they will run blitz some and I think they will really try to get after Worley. Challenge the young OL. I don't think they will play a lot of zone. I think they will challenge and come after the OL. They will make the OL try to figure out who to block with them jumping around. With a former walk on at LT and a true FR at RT Guard and some guys who just haven't played a lot of football I think they will try to challenge them physically. Utah St will look at TN 2 deep and the defensive coordinator will roll the dice. Utah St. wants to create chaos.

Do you think Jancek will play a base package or Nickel? I am a firm believer that your Nickel package has basically become your base package. Unless you play Bama or LSU who runs two TE's and want to smash you in the mouth. With this day and age with spread stuff everywhere you got to play Nickel. 3rd and short things change. With a Mobile QB I think TN will live in Nickel Sunday night.

Do you think we see Maggitt Sunday? I do. He will play some standing up and most situations off the edge. We will see Barnett as well. Curious to see how Curt plays. He has missed a ton of time this pre-season. He needs to be out there and his team needs him out there to settle them down.

Running Back situation? Will we see Lane, Hurd and Scott? They would love to play Scott but physically he will not be able to go this week. Battling a foot sprain. He has missed a lot of time. See where he is at next week. If he can get healthy that is the rotation with those 3 guys. Paulk is not ready due to the knee. I like what Scott does. Brings a good dimension on what they are doing back there along with Hurd and Lang. Pretty good trio when Scott gets healthy. You will see a heavy dose of Lane and Hurd Sunday night.

What is your gut telling you about this game? Closer than a lot of TN fans think. A real challenge. Key for TN is how quickly can they get settle down. It's the wow factor. You have a football team in TN that a lot of players have never played in this environment before. Barnett has admitted he is nervous. How quickly can they settled in. Utah State has nothing to lose and they will try to hit TN in the mouth. Try a couple of gimmicks. How quickly defensively TN calms down and red the keys. Focus and make the plays. Offensively how quickly they get the butterflies out and settle in. I think that's the biggest question mark in this game in which team settles down first.
