So, heading into the season, here are my estimated lines on the Vol Schedule:
If these are the favorites, pull out your crystal ball and identify your upset(s) this year. I'm Butching for upsets on the road against Georgia (2 weeks of prep) and at home against Missouri. Edited by OrangeRev, Aug 25 2014, 08:56 AM.

South Carolina ... you don't think Spurrier will have his team on a mission? |

The only one I see is Mizzou and that's iffy. We scored 50 on them 2 years ago.....and LOST! Florida had the worst team last year since Charlie Pell was coaching them in the 70's and we still couldn't beat them. IMO USC has the best chance to win the East. We have less than 25% chance of beating them. We are a 5-7 team this year....6-6 and I'll run down my street naked carrying a UT flag and singing Rocky Top. |

I won't consider beating Missouri much of an upset. Vol freshmen should be playing like sophomores by then. Florida or Georgia would be my picks for a true upset. |

In the preseason, it's a pretty big upset. By the time we play them who knows, we may be favored. |

I like where Vols are catching them this year. Miserourri is coming off a trip to face their old conference foe, Texas A&M in College Station on the 15th. The game is on Nov. 22 and the Vols are playing Kentucky the week before they meet. |

I think we will beat misery as long as we don't get hit by the injury bug |

We will have a tough time containing Missou's QB, I think. But like I said before: at this point I dont have a clue what our team will be like. I think we will be improved, and if we dont have a string of injuries have a chance to be pretty darn good by the end of the season. The freshmen are going to be deer in headlights for a few games...but once they get some experience look out. |

I don't think beating Missouri will be an upset. Also, we should be able to play with Florida. My concern is somebody beating us that shouldn't. |

Agree with this. The first team games should tell the tale on that concern. |
