The Jennings kid from Blackman is a player and needs the ball in his hands somehow....someway. The OL Jones from Oakland is a player.....kid can be a beast. He got his knee rolled up on in the 4th quarter and had to leave the game and was on crutches......Hope he will be ok. Torrance Gibson is a athlete no doubt.....Not the best at throwing. I'm sure he has bought in to Urban 'The Snakeoil Salesman' Meyer and will wind up at OSU. |

I hope urban gets Gibson. He will get in trouble quick and will be gone from their program before becoming an impact player. |

My daughter goes to Spain Park in Hoover, and she's in the band. So I go to all of those games. Their game last friday was the most difficult game of football to watch I've ever seen. I've never seen so many -30 yard shotgun-snap-over-the-head plays in my life. Dear highschool coaches: fundamentals are fundamental. The snap is the most basic play on offense, and arguably the most important. If you dont have a guy who can get a shotgun snap to the QB, you may want to think about going under center. Incidentally, it's probably not a bad idea to teach your centers how to just do a basic snap. The pistol formation is stupid on the goalline, and it's silly to not even be able to pull off the victory formation without going into a shotgun. /rant. |
