JONES: @WorleyBird_14 has earned the right to the be starting QB. I believe Justin is playing the best football he's played in a long time.

JONES: @WorleyBird_14 has experience in the SEC and we're going to need that w/ our young football team.

Justin Worley is the best option for the offense. Not a surprise, he's the starter.

What did Basilio and his minions say? :roflmao:

. @UTCoachJake says @WorleyBird_14 is hitting on all cylinders right now. He is more vocal. Command presence at line of scrim improved.

Basilly-O has made his entire blog about how Peterman and Dobbs both have outperformed Worley in practices and scrimmages thus far in this camp. He is basing everything off of what this Reed Carringer guy from Rocky Top Insiders is telling him. Carringer has not seen anything more than the other media who have seen very little of the action. He claims he has a source who has told him this information.

I can not see Butch Jones playing inferior players just to reward guys because they are seniors. There is too much for him to lose in acting that way.

Hubbs was on the radio this morning and said two things:

(1) Dobbs has never competed with Worley for the starting QB job. Dobbs had a poor Spring (except for the OW game) and was very inconsistent in the Fall camp.
(2) Peterman was also not much competition for Worley, but is more consistent than Dobbs.

Let's hope Worley is good enough to get the ball in stride to our talented group of WR's, if he can do that we will be OK...

That is bad news about QB's. I was hoping Peterman would come along and be a solid starter next year. We will be really thin at QB next year. The freshmen will be hardly ready to play. What a rebuilding job Butch has for the next few years.

Yeah, BJ, I'm concerned about our QB's for next year. I'm not high on Peterman or Dobbs, and the freshmen can't be expected to do much.

Wasn't there a QB tranferring ... who was that??? Hmmm ...

I don't think our starting QB for 2015 is on campus, yet. I believe Dobbs had 3 QB coaches this Summer and that is 2 too many.

If the solution for 2015 is to start a freshman against UAB, our QB situation is more dire than I am thinking right now.

Peterman is the most likely starter for the Vols in 2015.

I am thinking there may be a transfer or a JC in the mix. I just don't know if Peterman is the answer. I have watched the Spring games and other film of him and just see nothing to be encouraged about. I hope I am wrong.
