I have t believe that with a 20 wins and 11 loss season coupled with big lopsided wins over ACC Champion, Virginia and lop sides wins in our recents games, we should be a lock to be selected next Sunday. We got rooked the past two seasons on selection Sunday, so I will not be surprised if it c=happens again, but this team, should be in the Tournament. We must not lose the first round SEC Tournament game to make sure. |

Interesting that Jerry Palm says that we have to beat Florida to get into the Tournament. |

If the committee does, as some suggest, put a lot of weight on performance down the stretch, then they should be in. The last three games, the opponents have averaged about 44 points per game. I do think they have to beat the Piggies to get in. Of course, Pigs could be upset on Thursday by Wed. winner. |

They have not weighted their selections on that criteria the past two seasons, or else we would have gotten in. |

It probably comes down to whether there are many mid-major upsets in their respective tournements. |

No big upsets so far of teams that would get an at-large bid if they lost in conference tourney. I still am getting a bad feeling if Vols face Arkansas in the SEC tourney. On a side note. Am seeing that there is a distinct possibility that Purdue may fire their corch. If so, apparently they might come after Cujo. This would be the best case scenario for all concerned. I can't see him passing on his alma mater if they want him. |
