The Vols host Marshall Henderson and Ole Miss tonight.

Ole Miss will play a couple variations of zone tonight. Will UT be able to handle the zone?

Looks like we will see less of Barton at the point and more of Darius Thompson at the point.

Need to smother Henderson, if he gets hot , he can shoot them to a win. How did Hubbs surgery go?

I think Ole Miss is still in our heads from last year. I've yet to really get a grip on Martin's substitution logic. If I had Thompson on my team, I'd be getting him as many minutes as possible. He's starting to look timid and I think it's because his minutes have been cut so deeply. I'd also be getting Davis minutes. He's got a way bigger upside than Reese. I'd be playing Barton off the bench to back up the 1 & 2. I hate to say it....but its really up to McCrea. If the one that played at Florida shows up....we're toast. If the one that played against Auburn shows up, we should win.

Reese has some offensive skills, where Davis is still quite limited.

The scuttlebutt is that Lopez will see time at the point starting tonight.

Hit and cold.

I thought that Darius Thompson was playing lights out in the first half. We were hot and went out to a 19 point lead before allowing Ole Miss to cut it by 8 points in the span of a one minute. We seem to have lapses at the end of the first half with some regularity.

Second half was a struggle while Henderson was white hot. Our guards did a nice job of guarding him. The shots he made were spectacular. Barton off of the bench was a good play. McRae was on his game. Maymom stink in the first half but was string in the 2nd half. Stokes owned the boards.

We have to find a way to get Moore into the game. He brings so much energy. I would make him 6th man for his spark alone. He makes great defensive plays, rebounds, and goes for loose balls. If we could get him to develop an offensive game, he would be spectacular.

Eminem is probably the quickest shooter I've ever seen. I don't think I've EVER seen anybody who can go from catch to shoot so quickly...and actually make shots...from darned near anywhere. I think you'll see Davis's offensive ability when he gets more minutes. The only thing he doesn't do better than Reese is shoot and that will change once he gets to play more. I agree about Moore...he like an athletic Dane Bradshaw...

Thompson had a great game...the only thing that held him back was fouls. 7 assists in 22 minutes with 2 turnovers is great...plus his defense is getting better and better. We owned the boards...nearly outrebounding Ole Miss by twenty...with eight blocks thrown in. If Eminem doesn't play...this game is a route......
