Tennessee's freshman Robert Hubbs III had successful surgery to repair damage to his left shoulder. The injury was sustained in the state tournament last year. At that time the family elected to try and let the injury heal without surgery. The doctors did repair work both in front and in back of Hubbs' left shoulder. He is wearing a sling, but expects to be fully recovered in a few months. While he does not care much for the Cujo offense, he does not have any plans to transfer from UT. This afternoon at 2 central time, 3 eastern, ESPNU will show the first of two live games from the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest from Hubbs old school, Dyer County High in Newbern. |
