Hendrix is scheduled to take an official visit at Missouri over the weekend. His mother told him he should visit to make sure that he doesn't see anything that he did not see the first time.

Hendrix said it is almost impossible for Mizzou to flip him from UT and that he is pretty firmly committed to UT.

I'm sorry but this one has me worried.

It's been speculated about for a while and now it is official. Dewayne Hendrix will make an official visit to Mizzou this weekend

Update 10:40 AM

A few days ago, I'd have told you I considered Hendrix a big-time long shot for the Tigers. I still think they're probably playing catch-up, but there has been some talk among people I talk to that Missouri is more of a threat than I would have thought a couple of days ago. I know the Tennessee staff is having an in-home tonight. They'll have "several" coaches there from what I'm told. Tonight is big for the Tigers chances. If he hosts the UT staff and still makes the visit to Columbia this weekend, the chances go up exponentially, IMO. Scheduling the in-home visits is a really strategic thing. It's smart of Tennessee to get in there the night before he's supposed to leave for Mizzou and put the hard sell on him. Again, Hendrix is scheduled to be here this weekend (as I posted yesterday, the visit that was supposed to be an official in October ended up being an unofficial, so he's in line to get the full red carpet treatment this weekend), but this is a situation where anything could happen in the next 24 hours. I wouldn't count on anything on this one until he's confirmed to be on campus. But if he makes it, things could get real interesting in the last two weeks.

A little bit more on Dewayne Hendrix. I've been hearing for a couple of weeks now that Mizzou's ability to put defensive linemen in the league is a major factor here, and probably the biggest reason he's still listening to Mizzou. The Tiger coaches had an in-home visit with him last Thursday. I've not yet been able to figure out for sure if Gary Pinkel was on that visit or if he still has his in-home left to use.

I do not like the sound of this at all.

Mizzou has put Alden Smith, Ziggy Hood, Sheldon Richardson into the league in recent years and expect Kony Ealy to go in the 1st round this year.

Mizzou had Justin and Alden Smith as Pro Bowl DEs a season ago and had 2013-2014 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Sheldon Richardson from last seasons team. They produced all-SEC Des Michael Same and Kony Ealy this season.
