The Brady Haters will be out in fill force as the Patriots and Broncos square off in the AFC Finals this weekend. I don't get all of the hate. Both are great QBs and are two of the best to ever play the game. Could it be that Brady has a 10-5 advantage over Manning and more rings than Manning? Again, I don't get the hate. |

I admire what he has done this year more than all those years wih the rings. He has done more with less this year with the losses in key personnel from injuries as well as free agency. Edelman came through and has done a good job in replacing Welker. He lost his go to guy in Grokosky (sic), etc. However, he still has the best coach, in my opinion who ever coached the game. He has always had a great defense and those came through in the years with the rings. It wasn't like he had to out-score everyone because he didn't have a defense. Comparing him to Manning or vice versa or to anyone else for that matter is not a valid comparison because it is a team sport. Manning through those 55 touchdowns this year, but he had to have someone catch them. Case in point, Shannon Sharpe saying that the SB ring was the proof of a great QB and with Marino sitting at the podium was totally assinine. Further Manning wasn't playing #23 on defense yesterday. He wasn't the one who let the Baltimore receiver catch the long pass last year either. My point is that the comparison to Brady, the rings and the wins in playoff games is a fallacy and I think that is what brings on the hate for Brady from UT fans. Just think, if he had a SF or Seattle type defense for all those years in Indy, how many rings would he have had, maybe a double handful. |

The so called "Brady" haters are in a minority. NE is a good, well coached football team. SD made things interesting when Harris went out of the game. Don't know what his status is - but that doesn't bode well for Denver if he can't go. NE's defense ain't too shabby all things considered. The offense - at the right time is doing its RTDB thing - that big assed RB outta Oregon is a load. Brady just handing the ball off. |
