Ben Frederickson is reporting that the coaching staff may be leaving towards shutting Hubbs down and getting him immediate surgery. I hate to see this because I think he could have came right in and contributed more. His shooting IMO was down because of the injury.

@Ben_Fred: Robert Hubbs Sr. on his son's left shoulder injury: "Right now we are leaning toward getting it fixed as soon as possible." Surgery likely.

@Ben_Fred: Hubbs Sr. said he would like the #Vols to pursue a medical redshirt for Robert Hubbs. Will be tight since he's played in 12 games.

@Ben_Fred: Hubbs Sr: "We would love for him to get a medical redshirt, just in case. If it doesn’t happen we are still going to get it done regardless"

A Very Manly Man

might as well get him healthy. We're OK without him....as the upper classmen are starting to really step up. A medical redshirt would be perfect.
