Strong is indecisive with another ut.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--strong-hasn-t-accepted-texas-job-yet-150123894.html

All of the Texas beat writers and Texas big wigs were reporting that they had a deal last night. Obviously they had never dealt with Strong before. Imagine how indecisive he would be on the field, if he is so indecisive in dealing with job offers.

In one of his games this season, he made some call and the comment was, "I sure am glad we didn't get him".

Why would anyone have had any reason to deal with Charlie Strong - prior to his interview with S. Patterson? The "beat writers" seem to be okay with the hire - as all of them outline his accomplishments quote "becoming one of the nations most well-respected assistants during his tenure as Florida's defensive coordinator from 2003-2009....... took over a Louisville program that went 15-21 under predecessor Steve Kragthorpe, 37-15 as a head coach 23-3 over the last two seasons including a BCS bowl game win over Florida......"

I'm guessing here Toots your "indecisive he would be on the field" may be a bit misdirected. My opinion alone - Charlie Strong should be the head coach in Knoxville today. For the reasons outlined by a Texas "beat writer".

Yea the twitter world was all atwitter - BFD.

A head coaching "job offer" comes after the interview process. Lots of guys would take a job if they didn't have to go through that process.

Strong is but-hurtt.
Charlie "TexasStrong" Strong - 25 million over 5 years will make it fairly easy to purchase a steady supply of Beaudreaux's Butt Paste. :)

Texie, check out the spelling in the key word and think about a certain coach's name that is important to Strong.

MY gosh...that's funny. And I'd say how about 90% of Texas fans feel.

We will never know...but if Strong goes to Texas (still say there's a good chance he backs out) he will be about the 5th choice down the line.

I Wonder if Charlie Strong prefers Miami job over Texas and is waiting for Al Golden to take Penn State?

With Charlie Strong off to #Texas, names to keep an eye on at #Louisville: Derek Mason, Pat Narduzzi, mark Hudspeth, Tom Herman, Chad Morris
Sounds like Louisville is going after an upcoming assistant coach. Derek Mason is a young aspiring coach who strikes me as a great potential hire.
