I saw a large portion of Penis Head's presser. He said that Penn State was his dream job. Don't guess the faculty petition protesting his hiring ever got off the ground! :smh:

Bad day for Vandy.....They lost their dream football coach and then had to play and lose to KY in basketball. That's a double whammy.

Derek Mason is the guy that is atop the talking heads in Nashville at the moment.
That seems like a risky hire ... he doesn't even appear to have been given sole reigns as a coordinator.

Looks like Ogre isn't going to be back with Kiffin:

Alabama: Bo Davis will be the next defensive line coach at Alabama according to 247Sports. Davis was introduced at USC a week ago, and worked at Alabama from 2007-10.

He's the guy that devised the defensive scheme that has beaten Oregon each of the past few seasons.

He is the #1 choice for Vandy right now….at least why the local media thinks.

I am hearing some David Culley possibilities at Vandy. He is an assistant at KC Chiefs. He runs the combine drills for WRs. High energy, well respected in the NFL.

If Jim Caldwell gets Lion job, talk that he will take Culley to be OC.

Interesting direction at Vandy seems to be is taking shape - they are interviewing NFL OC's with limited or (in the case of Schottenheimer) no college recruiting experience. Whereas I could understand a major program attempting to use the "NFL pipeline" as a selling point to recruits, that is far from what would be successful with Vandy - they need a recruiting machine like Ed Orgeron. Of the two, Hamilton would be by far the better selection with regard to recruiting.

From Footballscoop:

Vanderbilt: St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer will interview for the Vanderbilt head coaching job today according to Adam Schefter. Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton will interview Thursday according to Bruce Feldman.

Interesting blurb yesterday on ESPNU college football show. The defensive line coach, Johnson, who is black and who has been at Penn State for almost two decades is leaving. He was, perhaps, the best recruiter on the staff. He was pilfered by CUM and Ohio State.

Looks like the Browns finally have a coach ... wow, that took a long time, didn't it?
