First, let's consider who is gone: East: Shaw (USC), Murray (Georgia), Franklin (Missery), Carta-Samuels (Vandy) West: McCarron (Alab), Mettenberger (LSU), Manziel (TAMU) Those 7 seniors are also the top 7 quarterbacks in the SEC for 2013. Here's your returnees, in order of QB rating ... which do you think has the best upside?

My thought? It will be Worley. Worley on his own merit looks to be an average yet capable quarterback, but I would expect him to excel passing to North, Malone and Pearson ... with Howard and Young in the slot. Behind North, Malone, and Pearson we would have Croom, Smith, and Harris ... that's deep and could give defenses fits. And, hopefully Branisel, Helm (EE) or Wolf (EE) can boost the TE position. Worley should start; hope they game-plan to play either Dobbs or Ferguson so we don't have to 'start over' in the development of a qb for 2015, or if Worley gets injured. |

I really feel like Ferguson wins the job next spring. If Worley holds off Ferguson and Dobbs, then that will mean he has probably improved some. I look for Peterman to transfer out. |

It's possible for Ferguson to win. And, yeah, I suspect Peterman is gone unless by some miracle he become superQB in the spring. |

I would have to say Prescott and then Marshall. Prescott looked good coming off the bench against Ole Miss and Marshall, oh well enough said. |
