This is why Dobbs is seeing the action and not Ferguson.

Apparently freshman quarterback Riley Ferguson fractured his tibia before the Alabama game and is now 85%.

So...this means. Fergie OUT......Worley OUT......Peterman OUT.

We were down to ONE TRUE freshman QB that just learned where his classes are located...but Butch is a failure and we need to fire the OC!!!

LMFAO!!!

A Very Manly Man

That makes sense....Ferguson has the potential to be pretty good. One concern, however. In a little over a year he's managed to break three bones....One prior to the Elite 11, one during his HS Sr. year that caused him to miss four or five games and now this one. I really hope he's not going to be banged up his entire career. Some guys just have brittle bones. Honestly, he's our best shot at having a functional offense next year.......

You wonder about running the read option with a brittle qb.

I'd had rather seen the ball in Pigs hands on that sorry ass 3rd and 1 play that our inexperienced QB couldn't/didn't check out of...

Look up EPIC FAIL in the dictionary and it will have a draw up of that play against 9 in the box next to the definition.

All of us saw them loading upo the box and ready for a jailbreak blitz. You would have thought that Dobbs would have seen it too.

Audibles are called from the sideline, I don't think Dodds is allowed to make those changes on his own.

That said, they did audible on that play. Or they faked an audible, as Dodds appeared to talk to his OL and running back with what appeared to be an audible prior to that snap.

If they audibled to that off tackle run, then the coaches are idiots. Maybe they changed the side they were running to.

A slant pass would have gone for a touchdown.
