Got this from Bruin on vn:

I have gone back and watched the last 6min again and here is what I found.

We had a 1st down just shy of mid field with 6:22 left. Below is when we snapped the ball.

1st and 10. Snapped at 6:22 with 31secs left on the play clock.

2nd and 5. Snapped the ball with 15secs left on the play clock.

3rd and 1. Snapped the ball with 5sec left.

4th down punt was snapped with 10sec left.

THAT'S 1:01 EXTRA TIME WE LEFT THEN TO GO 90+ YARDS.

They got the ball at 4:16 when it should have been 3:15. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Butch, you are not in whatever part of Michigan you coached in anymore.

Hate to tell you this, but the Aeronautical Engineering Major with the photographic mind and only having to been told one time, does not belong on the football field. He needs to be in the lab and take the oc and dc with him. If these guys made decisions like that in the business world they would be in Chapter 7.

You need to learn the meaning of patience. So far, you have shown what you don't know that much about football. You are a guy who plays the blame game!

BJ, I would be glad to sit down with you and discuss the schematics of football any day of the week.

You need to start by not losing your cool before you can talk about football. Good coaches have poise. You have not yet demonstrated that.

Tux is spot on regarding the time issue. If it has been demonstrated that we can't do a hell of a lot of scoring with Dobbs AND the other team has a big play receiver and our secondary has sucked talent wise and coaching wise (kids out of position repeatedly throughout the season is not lack of speed, it is coaching) then you play possession football and grind out a win by keeping the opponents offense off the field. This is not done with a hurry up offense. Football 101.
