Guys, Josh Dobbs is not the answer. He is not a SEC Passer.

Palardy returned to being Palardy.

Butch has to learn that he is not coaching in the Big East or the MAC. He got schooled by Jimmy Franks.

we outplayed Vandy for most of the game with the exception of the 1st quarter and their final drive.

The 4th down overturn was horrible because it violated the intent of the replay rule. There was no visual evidence of the ball at all.

Agree, seen hundreds of situations like that since replay was brought in, right or wrong NEVER a reversal IF they couldn't see the ball or if they had to assume where the ball was.

Guys, in my eyes, Butch's first season was an utter failure. He has a great recruiting class coming in. He needs to make changes to his offensive scheme.

I bet there are no changes to the coaching staff or scheme on either side of the ball. You are right, Dobbs is not a SEC caliber QB.

We are down in talent in a big way, absolutely no question. Having said that the one thing that stands out to me is that with the exception of the UGA game, I felt like Butch nor his staff actually gave this team any kind of "a little something extra". I hate to say this and now it looks even impossible, but when Kiffin was there it seemed like his staff did get a little more out of them.

Butch coached like his offensive system that he brought with him would be all that the team would need to get through these games. That systems was miserable failure. You know he is not going to switch to a pro set formation. I am truly concerned for the long term future of our program now.

his "system" is one running play that is an option in appearance, but either the read is called in pre snap or our qbs are horribly coached in making a read on their own, then an all curl pas tree.

Of he recruits a dynamic qb, a few 5 star rbs and some sick quick wrs (that can catch the godddamned ball. . Why the hell does Josh Smith keep getting pt?) his system will be awesome. If he doesn't, it won't. He needs a new oc too.

I agree with this.

Butch has the built in excuse of little to no talent. That's why I don't think he'll change his staff. By the time he realizes these guys are over their heads, his tenure at UT will be on it's last legs.

I've never been a spread option guy, and dread UT running it. I don't think it will produce SEC championships. I don't see Jones changing this either. Our current team is built for it, and that is one reason we're struggling with Jones' offense.

I've got to agree with all of the above and trying to pick up the first down at 3 and 1 with 11 in the box with a five yard deep handoff to the back is downright stupid. And I would like to add this Pig Howard cost us two games with his play - the fumble against UGA and the block in the back. Dobbs needs to stay in the Aeronautical Engineering lab. The uniforms didn't help either, did they? The players and coaches deserved this loss. You think this team wants to beat KY?

Does anyone even care of we win or lose to Kentucky now?
