The turd has been ripe for the picking at times this year, but has put it together when it had to. In other words, I think something is missing -- not sure what exactly, but they can turn it on or off when they need to. They had seemingly put it all together at the midpoint of the season but vs. Mississippi State they reverted to early season form -- they won but not like they woulda/coulda/shoulda. Auburn is playing magical football right now. That play vs. UGA was one of those "is this a team of destiny?" plays. One interesting item is that Mike Slime has a dream matchup in the Iron Bowl -- an undefeated turd vs. a one loss Auburn for the crown in the west. As someone brought up earlier in this thread, would a one loss Auburn team that wins the SECCG vault an undefeated OSU to the BCS championship game? My guess is no -- therefore Slime will do what it takes to ensure a turd victory. Auburn can beat the turd, but I don't think they can beat the turd and Slime. |

Agree Eg.....But if you look back Miss. State seems to always play Bama good over the years. Plus there is something about going to Starkville that visiting teams seem to struggle. We took some real good teams there over the years and struggled to beat a bad Miss. State team. You're right though....Bama looked average (for Bama standards) against them this past weekend. |
