I think the stint at Ole Miss continues to hurt him. Give credit where credit is due as I say he built the team that Houston Nutt used to beat Florida and then ran it into the ground much like Battle did with Dickey's recruits. Someone added that the loss to UCLA cost him the HC job, but that's hard for me to believe. He is Cajun through and through and to me that doesn't fit with the USC alumni type. The UCLA loss was a gift for Hayden to use against Orgeron. I know, I know the players liked him, but that's not what counts and I think PH was being "coached" in who to go after. When it comes to the Kiffins, has any family gained more notoriety by doing less than the Kiffins? Combover got the credit for the Tampa 2, but it was W. Sapp and the others who made up that defense. Look at how he did at USC when he was DC and now look at how he's doing at Dallas. Didn't take Davis long to figure out what he had with Kiffie, did it? By the way, I and several others always thought Davis had a lose screw, but he was right on with Kiffie. Hamilton and a lot of us fell hook line and sinker for him when he came to UT. I look at Calipari and Tuberville as the best snake oil salesmen since P. T. Barnum, but they can't hold a candle to the Kiffins. |

Haden could not give the job to Orgeron. The program is still on probation and you, as the AD, hire one of the shadiest recruiters in the business. The NCAA will be waiting to slam the door shut on USC. |

I forgot that big negative. I still think that PC, LK, EO and maybe Sar knew about Bush. Or are like Obama? |

Haden wouldn't give the job to Ogre because he is Ogre. It's that simple. That said, I bet Ogre would have had more success at USC than Sark ... Edited by OrangeRev, Dec 2 2013, 10:06 PM.
