The Vols tight ends have disappeared in recent games.

Somebody put them on the side of a milk carton?

Have you seen them?

I gotta tell you right now, I don't give a hoot in hell if Woody Quinn can block his grand mother, if the big sumbitch can catch a pass, he needs to be in the friggin football game. They never even tried to throw to the tight end today and Downs was in for many snaps today, lined up tightly against the tackle.
And if Dobbs can't throw a pass to the first down sticks, he needs to be replaced by Ferguson.

Quinn is deep down the depth chart, and he will be #5 or #6 on the depth chart next fall. I haven't heard that Quinn does anything well ... block, catch passes, or run routes. At least he wasn't causing motion penalties when he played (he hasn't played since Oregon).

Need a decent/good tight end, this would really help free up North. I hope we have an instant impact one next year.

We jave Branisel, who has already played, and Wolfe and Helm coming in next season.

LWS said that we shouldn't be surprised if Woody Quinn does not return next season.

With the number of early enrollees that Butch is anticipating, it sure sounds like a lot of guys may not return or may not have their scholarships renewed.

Good.....if you can't play you need to go.

This offense needs TEs....CBJ uses the TEs a lot. It opens up the passing game all around.

I have supposed he will, but there is no way he will play ... offering Quinn, in my opinion, was the absolute worst decision Butch made last year.

A desperate decision based on desperation.

Our TEs may be worse than the secondary. Are the TEs coming in early admits? I thought after UGA that we should just go to 4 WR sets b/c our TEs weren't blocking anybody.

Yeah ... I know. It just seemed to be to be a waste of a scholarship. TE is one of the hardest positions to learn ... it would be a miracle for someone with just 1 year of experience at a Junior College could be productive in the SEC. That's crazy.

I don't think anyone expected the mighty quinn to do anything other than catch.
