It sure sounds like he is being recruited over.

His dad made a statement that his son planned on being an early enrollee but that Tennessee was not presenting that opportunity to his son, so he was going elsewhere to pursue being an early enrollee.

Tux, Booth doesn't have the grades to get into Tennessee in January. He needs to bolster some grades in the Spring to qualify.

And, we have need 4 receivers in this class (assuming Wharton is a Y) ... even if Malone commits, we are still looking for another receiver. This is why we are still recruiting Lauderdale.

I know, but that is what his dad is saying. It smells of the "my son has been recruited over" routine.

Reading between all the lines, I think that (a) Booth did not qualify to enter Tennessee for the Spring, and (b) Tennessee coaches are not high enough on him to guarantee a slot on NSD.

So, yeah, I guess that's a long winded way of saying he got recruited over.
