De-commit to go to Georgia...Bama...Florida...etc. But de-commit to go to Cinn. You can use your head on this and figure it out. |

Yeah ... what's more, he hasn't committed to anywhere ... his language is not about where he is going, but where he is not going. His language sounds like he is hurt about something in regard to Tennessee. I'm pretty sure that Tennessee coaches have not had him on their visit list over the last couple of weeks - at least, I cannot recall seeing where they have visited him. This is all telling me that Tennessee either dropped him completely, told him to "look around", or told him that his scholarship is only available if there is room. Hubbs reported that the decommitment was "mutual". By the way, three schools that typically recruit Georgia heavily have not offered him: Georgia, Auburn, and Clemson. So, he's not as high with college coaches as he is with analysts. Edited by OrangeRev, Jan 24 2014, 08:34 AM.

Brent Hubbs has indicated that it may have been a mutual decision, but I think UT may have actually back off this kid. I glean this reading between the lines. The staff likes Jakob Johnson and Bryant better and Bryant must be solid and also close to qualifying academically. Keep an eye on the Williams kid, the RB out of La. He has cancelled his visit to Florida to spend more time in Knoxville and also he most certainly knows that LSU already has the No. 1 RB and overall prospect in the nation committed to them. |
