His comments in the middle of that speech, focusing on welfare programs, is exactly why I hate those things ... they don't lift up the poor blacks of America, but create a new system of slavery. |

One thing I don't think he mentioned was the fact that it was the senators from the south who swung the vote for the voting rights bill. However, most of the people who voted for Obama are too ignorant of history to figure out who went to bat for them during the sixties. One thing that should be obvious is that they are no better off today than they were forty years ago, but there again they don't realize it. As long as the democrats can keep them dependent on the feds, they will vote democrat and just staying in the muck. Memphis, Detroit, Newark and the list just keeps on growing. |
