I created an unbelievable sammich over the weekend. Well it was a twist to an already popular sammich. I cooked some bacon and cleaned the pan of the bacon grease and then friend an egg-overeasy (fried it in butter). I buttered two pieces of bread, put cheddar cheese on the inside of one slice of bread, layered in the bacon and the overeasy egg and topped it with a slice of velveeta cheese and the other slice of bread. It was a grilled cheese sammich with bacon and overeasy egg in the middle. Oooh dat be good!!!! |

Sounds like that might work with a couple or three spicey sausage links too! |

Sounds good. Here's the Zippy breakfast: get a quarter cup frozen peas and carrots. Sautee them in a non stick skillet in just a touch of extra light olive oil, then throw in 3 egg whites. Doesnt taste too bad...but that's not why you eat it. I eat it because it's really filling, has no cholesterol, around 150 calories (give or take), a ton of protein and a good source of vitamins & good carbs. When you are a fat shit like me, that means something! (specifically: every calorie I save at breakfast and lunch is a calorie I can add back in with dinner, and beer!) |
